"The staff at this hotel go above and beyond to help you enjoy your stay. The rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. just a short ride to both Nimes and Arles. On Monday evening be sure to attend the 'family style' dinner put on by the hotel as nothing is really open in the area until at least 7:00 pm."

The place was completely charming and was a perfect HOME BASE that allowed me to explore everything from Cassis, Marseillle, Montpellier, Nimes etc. Though I didn’t take advanatage often they made sure I was fed and their flexibility was over and beyond. I wish my stay had not been so short."

"This hotel is in a great location. Parking is nearby for 40€ for three days. Or 25€ per day. We found it to be quiet. The staff were not the friendliest bunch but they did their job. "On our visit to the south of France we decided to stop in Nîmes overnight to see the temples and Roman Coliseum. We chose Hotel de l’Ampitheatre for its proximity to the train station and the sights, and high ratings. We were not disappointed. The staff is friendly and helpful, the hotel is clean and charming, and the breakfast is fresh and delicious. It felt like a lovely little Inn. If we travel to Nîmes again, we will not hesitate to return to this hotel"
