「Our stay at the Old Mushroom Farm was fantastic. The converted mushroom house into an apartment is awesome and very comfortable. I would recommend it for anyone wishing to explore the Howick/Karkloof area.」
「The property needs some maintenance, however, it was clean and had everything we required. No wifi, toiletries or hairdryer. Fabulous views and quiet relaxing atmosphere. Close to main road. 」
「Location and grounds were lovely. Room was advertised as the "Stables Suite", but it was very small. We had to go outside and into another locked room to access our kitchenette. Front desk staff was very dry and not welcoming. She did not seem to like her job. Breakfast started 45 minutes after advertised. Listing and signage say "breakfast, lunch and dinner", but they only serve breakfast. Bed was very old and creaky. Lots of potential. Needs TLC.」
「The stay was ok as the location was convenient for the function I was attending. I had to pay extra for breakfast which I dont recall from the booking.
The carpets were were shabby as was the 2 seater couch. The bed linen was clean! I was given a family unit. The space was awkward to move around due to the sleeper couch and 2 seater couch.」
