"You’ll experience an awful lot of creaking floorboards in this hotel which isn’t a problem unless you’re room is directly beneath someone who moves around a lot. The room I stayed in also had a weird kind of old person smell that you really notice when you first enter your room but which, I suppose you just get used to when you’re in for the night. The spa facilities also close far too early and is the reason I couldn’t get to use it during my stay. Really friendly and helpful staff. In particular Mohi and Alex were both incredibly helpful and professional and are a credit to the hotel."

"Hotel itself was nice and spa area was lovely but the restaurant was not great; food was poor, some of the staff weren't interested in being there and slow service. I avoided the restaurant after the first night but unfortunately had breakfast included so couldnt avoid for that! "

"I absolutely loved my stay here and would definitely stay here again. From the minute I walked in I was made to feel very welcome from the two people working behind the bar, they were so warm, kind and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. I was checked in very quickly and smoothly. My room was on the top floor up quite a few stairs but this wasn’t an issue for me as I am fully mobile and able to carry my bags upstairs. However for a less-abled person it may be a bit difficult. My room was wonderful. It was large; even with a double bed, an armchair, a wardrobe and a desk there was still plenty of room. It was so bright and airy and very clean. The shower was one of the best I’ve ever used in a hotel. The water was always warm and of a really good pressure. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was very white and crisp. All the communal areas eg stairwell, downstairs bar were very clean and decorated very tastefully. I loved all the paintings on the walls. I had breakfast and dinner which were both cooked to perfection, and in the bar the choice of beers was very good. I cannot fault this hotel at all as it was simply wonderful. Even the location was great as it was opposite the train station (I travelled by train), and it was about 15 minutes walk into the town and beach. And considering my room was above a busy pub I heard no noise from downstairs at all. Thank you to all the brilliant staff that I met, you were all amazing and perfect!"

"Easy access to the parking lot, The receptionist was very helpful and kind on our arrival and during our stay. The service in the restaurant where we ate was great, we were satisfied with the breakfast"

In the past I have been looked after very well, but now is different. Maybe staff are carrying out change of operation rules but this chane does not encourage me to return. "
