"Friendly staff, beautiful view from our room. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The bathroom needed some refreshing and a thorough cleaning. I found a long hair In the shower, yuck! Overall-it was a short decent stay."

"Room was clean. Housekeeping staff were great. Bed was very comfortable. Bathtub had been updated w/new faucet and shower head...poorly finished; really sloppy. Tub has a slight slope from side to middle I presume to direct water but it makes standing a bit unsure as there is not a flat surfact to stand on. No non-slip surace or mat. Not comfortable because of that. Safety bar was installed on the back wall of the shower which was a bit of a stretch to reach, but more importantly, if you were holding on to the bar for safety there wasn't enough water pressure for the new shower head to reach my standing body. I'm not sure I would stay there again. Although I understand it's Newport...it was pricey for condition."
