I felt the advertising was misleading but we made it work. -The room I got was designed for disabled people. That was not clearly advertised on Expedia (it was called (accessible) and was an issue because the shower didn't drain as well as a typical shower does. - The room was advertised as having a plasma tv- false; it had poor picture quality. I didn't go to Miami Beach to watch TV, but it was a con. -The room was advertised as having a kitchenette- it didn't have a sink except for what was in the bathroom. -It was advertised as having full-size refrigerator/freezer/washer and dryer. I didn't see them. Aside from this, the room could've been significantly improved with a few improvements. - There was no soap in the bathroom when I arrived. No paper towels despite being advertised as having a kitchenette. -plugs in inconvenient places- a power strip would've gone a long way. -Small sink that was cracked and needed to be replaced. -Staff were not ready to check us in by 3 PM check in time due to rooms not being cleaned in time and there was a crowd of about 20 people with a similar issue. I got the impression the hotel hired the minimum possible number of people to run it. Hotel can't hold a bag if you check in early- we used an app called bounce to put our stuff in a bike shop for about three hours. It worked out fine, but it cost us $20 or so, and our things were unsecured in that time. Location good, bed good.

The common areas outside were beautiful, as well as the pool area. The rooms were below average and in much need of renovations. Although we kept our kitchen as clean as possible and had no food out we saw a few roaches in our kitchen. There were some kitchen items available for use but no dishwashing liquid, sponges etc to wash dishes; you had to buy it all. The staff was were helpful and friendly.

With such incredibly thin walls, you hear everything from conversations to doors shutting. According to the front desk, there is no security on site so if you encounter a loud party into the wee hours of the morning, it's on you to call the police (yes this is what we were told). The pool does not have near enough seating so we were only able to use it once. Oh, and we found out our door wasn't locking so anyone could have entered. The no sleep night due to the party was the last straw so we left and went to a proper hotel. I tried to receive compensation for at least two of the nights for the aforementioned, but no luck. It's kind of like slumlord-apartment-living fantasy camp. Roll the dice if you want to save a buck. It ended up costing us much more.

The property itself was great. The property was close to the beach and the shore line. I would recommend this location for anyone's vacation spot.

I rented and was there 5 days. My apartment was never clean during my stay. I had to go to the front desk for towel exchange. At check-in I was told the apartment would be clean on the third day. House keeping never arrived even after beig told they would come on the 4th day.
