Casa Tuna was everything you could hope for in a place to stay. Beautiful rooms, comfortable bed, lovely linens, fabulous staff, kept up perfectly. Rooftop patio. Excellent wifi too! Loved every minute of our stay. Thank you for making our visit to Coyoacan the best.

The hotel looks brand new. The staff keeps it pristine. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect: walking distance from all the main attractions in Coyoacan.

Centrally located but relatively quiet oasis in great area of CDMX. Very comfortable bed and good shower. Have to ring bell to be let in every time but the helpful porter was always at hand.

Home Away from Home

The hotel owner was gracious and paid for my taxi ride to the hotel because the driver only took cash and I had none at the time. I was able to go to an atm and return the cash to the hotel owner. Will be my home away from home when I go back to Mexico City

The hotel is fantastic, the staff extremely helpful. Beautiful roof terrace and central courtyard and well designed rooms. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night and the noise from a near by bar was very loud until 2am. Not the fault of the hotel but I would advise other guests to bring ear plugs!

I’m a middle class American who needed a break from my essential worker job! This place gave me a wonderful recharge. The beautiful room with a huge bathtub, the upper terrace with a hammock and a breakfast in the courtyard all made me feel pampered. If your a nice humble person who is respectful of others please stay here! I want this place and the people who manage it to remain as they are. Thank you Casa Tuna :)

Gorgeous design, better than $1000/night hotels I've stayed at. Shower is amazing ! :) Only comment on how to improve is some things online say there is breakfast, in fact breakfast tables were set up but we were very confused about what was included or not. There is also a chef in the kitchen but why? There is no restaurant r room service menu, but the chef was in there working away at something. They should explain at checkin how it all "works." Also you have to ring a bell to have someone inside the facility which gets a little annoying but the hombre who watches the door is lovely. I really recommend this little gem of a hotel.

I had a great stay — the place was very nice and quiet. I especially loved the shower and the quality of the shampoo and conditioner provided. It would be wonderful if they offered an option for a glass of wine or a drink to enjoy in the evening. For the breakfast, I think adding some cozier or cuter chairs would make the experience even better…

The property was conveniently located in Coyoacán - many restaurants, bars, and the nearby park/center of town. The area was very walkable and also safe both day and night. The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable. Hotel staff was friendly enough. I would stay here again.

The location of this beautiful boutique hotel is incredible! You are literally only 1 block away from the Church and plaza, all the restaurants, shops, and just a 5 minute walk from the Central Market of Coyoacan! The kindness of the staff made feel so safe, since I was traveling alone. The little hotel gives you the feeling of being in an old plantation home. It’s clean, quiet, and so beautiful.
