Place is ok, a little dusty with basic amenities. Shower water is hot. Room was locked with a door access code. Could hear people banging the door and showering at night. Good place to transit to ski mountain.

Self check in with a staff member on call. Tidy clean cosy rooms, good old school nz ski lodge set up. Good to have a drying room. Not super soundproof, was woken by people in the room next door just talking. There was no breakfast options just tea and coffee. Good location at the end of the main street .

Abisko Lodge has absolutely exceeded our expectations. Everything was spotless clean and tidy, location is very convenient. The staff member (young German guy) went above and beyond to make our stay even better. For our next trip to Methven, this lodge will be our first and only choice.

The room was OK but the sign outside said B&B. Could not find any breakfast. Don't know if it was included in the booking. No-one around. Bar was unattended. We saw someone drift in and out of the complex but he was not very helpful. The only time we got to speak to him was to see if we could do an early check-in, but no, the door is locked until 2pm. We were 30mins early. Can't really say the service was good, but the room was OK.
