"It was the perfect spot for a weekend get away. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. It was really close to all the activities we wanted to do so we had a packed schedule but it was so cozy to come home to. There was also a box fan provided upstairs!"

"I'm so glad that we found this cabin! The number one thing to know: Be sure to have a vehicle that can climb, because this neighborhood is steep. We were glad to have brought a 4x4 truck rather than a small car. I had messaged the property owner a couple of times before arriving, and they were very quick to answer and very pleasant. That means a lot. The property is conveniently located in Slade, very close to all things Red River Gorge. We opted to stay in the ground level bedroom, because the steps upstairs are narrow and best set up for kiddos. The ceiling is low in that room, with cute little rockers and a TV, perfect for little ones. There's one bathroom, also downstairs, fully stocked with towels and toiletries. We cooked in the kitchen every day and used the washer and dryer to the fullest. They have pots, pans, utensils, plates, and bowls. Make sure that you bring Saran Wrap, foil, and a hairdryer, as those were items that I was glad to have brought. If you have a mobility-challenged companion, be aware that there are about 10 steps to get to the main entrance. The hot tub was terrific. Clean, hot, private, and easy to take the cover off of. The Wi-Fi was great and they had every streaming service that we looked at. It had all of the comforts of home. We've recommended this location to friends and intend to come back as soon as we can. "

"My husband and I have both talked about getting away for a few days where we could disconnect from everything. The cabin and location were perfect in every way. We both kept saying how we wish we could stay longer! We both were craving peace and quiet and we got just that. It was lovely! It truly felt like home away from home. We hope to visit again soon! "

"This cabin met all of our expectation. It was quiet and peaceful with a short 30 minute drive to the store and to all of our planned activities. Very clean and well maintained, check in and out was easy and provided everything you would need plus some. We stayed a week with kids and the area was exactly enough to keep us busy as well as time to do nothing and relax. We would definitely recommend and would love to go back another time. "

"Nice property! Lots of reviews on the driveway, but our little Chevy Cruz did not have too much trouble coming up the driveway! You just need to know how to drive up a steep short driveway! My husband knows how to do that! Lol ! Loved the hot tub! The fire pit looked fun, but we didn’t get around to useing it! When we first got there I went barefooted to put things away and my feet got really dirty from the floor! We had to hand mop the floor and that fixed the problem! The rest of the cabin was clean and we enjoyed the 3 nights we stayed there! Not enough room to put your suitcases full of clothes in one bedroom, but it was only two of us so we used the bed in the other room to but our suitcases on! Cute little cabin !"
