The hotel is great. Big, surrounded by nature, trees, a river, 2 excellent swimming pools and the staff is very friendly. Our room was simply perfect. The restaurant is a joke, a bad joke. They got almost nothing to serve. They dont even show you the menu because 70% of the menu is out. So you will eat what they got, not what you want. Quality of the food not good and terribly expensive.

Amazing place and Andrea was the perfect host!

We had a wonderful stay here with our 5 teenage/young adult children. I was skeptical that the views and the rooms were as great as the pictures, but they were even better. We had two villas near each other for 7 people and had plenty of space. The location is private, yet a short Uber drive to La Fortuna. The food at the restaurant was great, though not a huge variety. There is AC in the rooms, which wasn't obvious from the listing, but much appreciated. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and helpful. If I had any criticism, it is that there are no loungers at the pool, only chairs. And yeah, it rained pretty hard on a couple of days. Overall, it was the perfect choice of hotel for us and I highly recommend it.

The room was nice and big, but the lighting is dark. The washroom has the most issues, the fan is too loud, no where to hang a towel, little counter space, the shower is too deep (hard to step out) and it is too narrow. The toilet paper is too high up which is not a big problem. You can hear staff working outside all night. Hear animal scratching outside. The worst is they sell thousands of day passes, so the hot spring pools are packed. The grounds and pools are very beautiful. Good towels, sheets and bath rubs. Food is good enough but not great. Service is ok. Not worth what we paid.

Just an incredible experience and best service of any hotel ever!!
