"Southland Hotel Casino was very nice in West Memphis Plenty of parking as there is a very large, open parking lot and a parking garage Lots of security The casino is connected to the hotel with separate entrances You have to walk through a metal detector and a guard dog to make sure no one is bringing in weapons I ate at the buffet, which was very nice, the room was very clean. There was a safe there as well. Mini fridge in the room with the TV. But there’s no microwave. That shows me they want you to buy their food. Also, there is a free soda fountain stations throughout the casino. That’s a nice touch. I never seen before and plenty of free water and bottles in the room. Staff was very friendly and nice and check-in was very easy"

"Definitely recommend this hotel, we had a wonderful experience! All of the staff were very nice and friendly. The room was beautiful, very stylish. We did not get to the rooftop in time but heard other guests speaking highly of it and we will make sure to go next time. Will always stay here when in Memphis from now on!"

"I had been warned about staying in Memphis but was pleasantly surprised by the property and the sense of security with it. I loved the convience of being right across the street from Graceland...I now know why they offer multi-day tkts, I wish I had more time and will be returning in the future to be able to fully enjoy The Graceland experience as well as all that The Guest House has to offer. We really enjoyed the live music offered in the evenings and chats with the staff were most memorable esp with Ms. Hamilton at the peanut butter and jelly counter and Mrs. Tina in the gift shop they are true treasures to the establishment! Be sure to tell Mrs. Tina I can't wait to take her to Daytona to watch the sun rise=)"

"We had a great view overlooking the Mississippi River and we could see the Bass Pro Shops Pyramid. The rooftop pool was great!"

"Main elevator was out of service and the breakfast was meager at best as only waffles and scrambled eggs were available plus some cereal. Room was clean as were common areas. One benefit was a guest laundry and a comfortable sitting room off the lobby."

"Beautiful hotel. The bartenders was not very friendly. The receptionists and valet attendants was very helpful, fast, and courtesy. The room was high tech. The bed was very comfortable and noise level was low. One of the reasons I chosen this hotel was due to the rooftop lounge. Sorry for me it was closed due to a private function. And it was my birthday. We did have a great time on Beale St."
