This was the absolute worst hotel stay that I have ever had anywhere, anytime for any reason! Of five hotel visits in Memphis, four of them were at Hyatt Place. And of those four, three of them were at Wolfchase. Stay there! Do NOT BOOK PRIMACY! The location and facility were fine. But I am beyond words about the customer service. We had our youth baseball team booked there. Baseball uniforms need to be washed. Two washers and two dryers. Only one of each was operable but no out of order sign. At the very worst, this only needed to be an inconvenience for us. Nothing more. When the one machine ate our quarters, I went to the front desk and the young lady, not standing up when I approached and keeping her cell phone in her hand, told me the machines are contracted out. I had to ask for a refund and with attitude, reluctantly got up and went to the cash register and gave me cash. I explained that I needed quarters because the one machine was still operable. She said they didn't have quarters. In my opinion, I'd think you'd realize your guest is already inconvenienced and would at least try to scrape together as many quarters as you could find. Nope. So after our first load from the working machine was finished, we tried to use the dryer and it also ate our change. My wife went to the front desk about the issue, only to meet with even more attitude...over $.50. This all ended with a call to the police and an "eviction". So much more to this but you get it!
