Our home is tucked away on a quiet residential street. It's a corner house well appointed close by to the Cooper-Young neighborhood. Our neighbors are very kind and respectful of guests and we ask the same be extended to them.

On a peaceful private street, our house is nestled away. This well-appointed corner home is located near the Cooper-Young area. We ask that you treat our neighbors with the same courtesy and consideration that you do for our guests.

Property cancelled morning of stay

Apparently the morning we were to move in, the kitchen flooded. We had to scramble to find other accommodations for 9 people. This company had my money since August of 2024. I was refunded but not with interest and I was not given anything for my troubles or anxiety. We also had to pay a lot more for hotel rooms for 7 days. I know now NOT to use a company that is not from the area. I have always rented from a local and will from now on. Lesson learned. I believe they should have paid for hotels until the situation was repaired and Servpro called in for clean up. Oh almost forgot. Instead of a phone call I received a text that my stay was being cancelled. My husband and 2 others were already in Memphis waiting to move in at 4pm. Super crappy experience.

Memphis Bound

The property was great -- spacious, comfortable, great local vibe & in a very, very quiet location. No one sleeps great in a strange place on a strange bed, but I gotta say, the beds were magic! So comfortable, great linens & duvets. There were some maintenance issues, but at this price point & taking into account all the positives, they did not detract. Would definitely return & stay here.

Never Ever!

Normally we never comment bad on a property but people need to know, and I hope that the host company fixes it! This place is awful! We left a few hours after we walked in and had to find a new place that night to stay, on marathon weekend! We got there shortly after check in time , check in easy, place freezing! 43 degrees no heat on! It is 32 outside! Reached out they finally replied "check the heat " we found a bunch of space heaters, so they seem like they knew. If someone cleaned in there till 4, which I was told they were, then there would of been heat on! Blinds in bedrooms broke, put a towel on it, floors sticky, looking for garbage bags and mouse turds under the sink! That was the deal breaker for us! Empty water and soda bottles under the couch,. We sent pictures of it all and they finally said would refund if we chose to leave. After a few hours of being there, no one had their coats off, we were creeping to 50, but it is a large house and poor insulation, so was going to take a long while! Kids were doing jumping jacks! And warming hands over candles! Lol. Anyway that is my rant and the fact the host didn't take ownership of the issue, which to me was almost as bad as the mouse poop and heat! we just left, paid more but felt we could sleep in the beds! So beware people! hopefully they do something because they do have a large house for a large group. But Never Ever would We stay there again or use that host they need to do better!

Big house. Lots of room.

We got there and the floors hadn’t been cleaned in the bedrooms, and we were unsure of the linens. So we washed the sheets and vacuumed the floors. But the cleaning fee was waived and the property managers were quick to respond. The remote was broken as well but we got it working. Overall, however, the house was so spacious. The kitchen and bathrooms had been updated wnd were nice. It was a good place for the price. The yard was spacious as well.

Good

The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. However, most of the electrical outlets did not work, the AC was a little cold and we couldn’t figure how to adjust. The upstairs bathroom shower only cool water and with no AC, not an option for us to sleep. One more suggestion, if you are able to accommodate that many people, you should provide more comfortable seating in living room. Otherwise, our stay was good and I would recommend to other people.

No What I Expected

Being that the address isn't provided until after you book, I truly thought we would be the historical district. We were miles from Cooper Young. The area in which we were located in was one street over from the highest crime are in Memphis. Once we arrived the yard hadn't been maintained, the back patio which could have been nice had debris and old rotted wood. There was not any toiletries for a group of 12 (no toilet paper or paper towels). The batteries in the smoke alarm needed to be changed. We ended up removing them because we had small people (children). Due to the location, we didn't venture out late. It would not be a location that I would recommend. As I did, we booked it because it was last minute and the price. We are thankful that everyone went fine but unfortunately we wouldn't recommend it. For VRBO, when accepting properties, one should truly consider the location and be upfront and honest. This turned out to be okay but in speaking with residents from Memphis they wouldn't have recommended that area to anyone.
