This was a lovely hotel and the room was perfect with a separate living area with pull out bed for my daughter & her boyfriend. The only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is because the cocktails were awful, but other than that it was lovely.

Amazing hotel. Friendly and very helpful staff. Close to the centre of the village and other attractions. Late checkout available. Beautiful view on the Good and Comino island.

We enjoyed a 2 bedroom suite which was very spacious, if a bit tired in terms of decor. Pool areas were great and not over crowded. A great hotel in that it’s not too big and in a fab location. Bars and restaurants in walking distance and bus stop within a 5 minute walk. Would recommend.

The hotel is good overall. The rooms were clean, but the furniture is a bit outdated. The door to the balcony did not close properly. Very small TV without smart functions (no Netflix etc). Paid parking available, but should be reserved in advance. Good selection at breakfast, the orange juice could be better.

Wonderful hotel and amazing staff. I felt pampered from the moment I walked in the door, everyone was smiling and so helpful. My room was beautiful, overlooking the smaller pool and immaculately cleaned. The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the beach. But if you don’t feel like walking there is a bus stop across the bridge from the hotel. Cave bar is a must, lovely cocktails and the view is spectacular.

Pergola is a well run hotel ideal for a short stay in Malta. 1 bedroom apartment was ideal and cleaned daily. Staff were all helpful and professional. Cave bar is lovely. Breakfast buffet was fine. Evening meals what you expect from mass catering, but plenty of local restaurants when you want something more special. Recommended for families, couples and solo travellers alike.

We stayed in a different room than what was originally booked due to a maintenance issue. Dinner was offered on the house. We understand and accepted the efforts. Only so much is within our control - especially with maintenance malfunction. Next day, our apartment room still wasn’t available, but we had to be out of our temp studio room as the cleaning team needed to prep it for the next guests. We had to leave our luggage with the staff, but all valuables needed to come with us as we self-toured the island of Gozo. Needless to say it wasn’t a relaxing day considering the cash, passports and a few other items we had to constantly monitor when parking, when going in for a dip in the water or a boat ride to explore caves. Everything became an extremely limited experience. Not to mention when they transferred our food from the Studio Room to the Apartment Room, they disposed of all of our food versus moving it with our luggage, including our wine. Lastly when we returned to the hotel, after a long day - a quick shower before dinner was had. But for my husband only, as the issue was not fixed. The drain was still clogged and it flooded our bathroom. Was hoping for the 4* review experience we had read about.

Personnel souriant et très accueillant. Chambre de bonne taille, propre, calme, bonne literie. La seule chose gênante était la lumière du balcon qui restait allumée une bonne partie de la nuit et qui filtrait sous le rideau. Repas sous forme de buffet, assez varié. Je trouve que les machines à café et boissons sont mal situées dans l'espace petit-déjeuner car elles se trouvent sur le passage pour se rendre au buffet et en repartir et cela provoque des embouteillages. Prix des boissons au bar très raisonnables, happy hours sur les cocktails de 18h00 à 20h00. Hôtel bien situé, arrêt de bus à 2 minutes à pied, très pratique.

A lovely family stay at the Pergola in Melleha. This is a perfect location to explore Malta, close to shops and lots of great restaurants. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment and the ac was a little temperamental and the furnishing dated but it was spacious and great for a family of four. Lovely pool, service and friendly staff.

Average stay

Hotel was fine - pool areas always very busy and not enough loungers. Some had reserved names on but no one told us how we could do that. Hotel is over 2 buildings so we had to keep going in lots of different lifts to move around. Room fine quite standard but the air con was quite low and didn’t cool as well as newer venues.
