Everything was great: beautiful location, cute cabin with solid amenities and the beds were comfortable. We saw plenty of wildlife: deer, ducks, otters, kingfishers, turtles, frogs and eagles. Even the tweens had a good time!

We had a great stay. The cabin was well maintained and central to things we were doing - kayaking, hiking to waterfalls, and exploring a bit of Lake Superior. We used it as more of a home base for our excursions. We all wished we'd have spent a little more time at the cabin - having a fire, getting out on the lake, etc. Overall, it was a very nice stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely log cabin. The lake was very peaceful and most of the time we had the lake to ourselves. It was great to wake up to a glorious lake view! Kayaks and paddle board were a hit with my kids. The location was perfect for visiting waterfalls in the area and in the UP, too! It was hard to leave.

We loved our stay at Eureka Lake cabin. The cabin was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was great for exploring waterfalls & hiking but we didn’t do as much exploring as we had anticipated because it was so relaxing and peaceful at the property. Thank you to Keith for promoting responding to my questions.

July 4th Stay

Wonderful week at Eureka Lake! The cabin was cozy, clean and met our every need. The location was beautiful, serene and private. We could not have asked for a better stay! It was a special week for our family. Hosts have given a lot of thought to making sure the cabin is equipped and comfortable. We look forward to future visits.

Great Cabin

The cabin was way more spacious that I was expecting! It was in a great location to just get away from everything. The night sky was amazing, I don't think I've seen so many stars in my life! It was beautiful to see the stars reflect off the lake. Wi-Fi wasn't the greatest, but we weren't there to work or play on our phones so it wasn't an issue.

Nice relaxing cabin

Nice cabin with enough room for our small group of Girl Scouts. The kitchen was perfect for meals and having the laundry room available helped us keep our clothes clean and dry. We all enjoyed paddling across the serene lake and sitting around the campfire at night with smores. We loved watching the deer come through, seen many turtles crossing the yard, and listening to the frogs on the lake at night was amazing. The location is perfect and close to the Copper Falls park for hiking and not far from many other locations that we visited like Superior Falls, Ashland, Bayfield, Red Cliff, and Meyers beach for kayaking on Lake Superior. A beautiful place to stay & will definitely be coming back !

Eureka Cabin Stay

Beautiful cabin on a beautiful lake. Very peaceful, we had the luxury of having some Loons patrol the lake as well as two pairs of Swans. The fishing was fantastic for children. Mellen and the surrounding area are very beautiful. We went to Dusty’s Saloon when thirsty, had supper at Elkhorn Lodge in Clam Lake. Visited Corrigans lookout in Upson, hiked Cooper Falls but spent most of our time on the lake at the cabin. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the north woods.

Mellen cabin

This cabin is quite a wonderful place, to unwind, spacious, well organized and situated in a spot where if you wanted to travel northwest ti bayfueld,or cornucopia or northeast to porcupine mountain (lots of water falls to check out along the way). It was an absolutely amazing time!

Good location, cute cabin, but had a horrible fly infestation

Nice location, beautiful lake, but there had to been thousands of dead and alive flies. When we arrived we spent an hour and a half vacuuming up flies, and the owner just blew it off. was not impressed why the owner handled it!

Great cabin on lake!

Took a few days vacation with our 20 and 17 yo old sons. Everything was absolutely amazing! So much fun!! Cabin was clean, beautifully decorated…..just perfect! Definitely would love to come back again….thank you for great memories!!

Quiet and relaxing

Very enjoyable stay at the quiet lake house. We fished, used the kayaks and paddle board and visited Copper Falls State Park. We cooked in and I really appreciated the quality dishes and cookware.

Serene and Quiet Getaway

If your looking for the most serene and quiet getaway in an adorable log cabin on a small no wake lake with great panfish and large mouth bass fishing this is for you! Our cabin was very clean and well stocked. Our daughter, son n law and two grandchildren joined us and we all had a great, relaxing time. Copper Falls State Park and other waterfalls offer great hiking, falls and beautiful scenery close by. Our son n law caught a 22" bass! Daughter and grandkids caught panfish after panfish for a great fish fry! Campfires, smores, sunsets, and family! What else could a person ask for!
