I’ve always enjoyed staying at Coppersmith, such a nice quaint hotel. Nice quiet neighborhood. However, this time around, my room was soooo dusty, had to clean up a bit before getting comfortable after my flight. Towels are pretty old too.

The Coppersmith is a charming old building that has been tastefully renovated. The rooms are comfortable and location is great. It was very quiet which we appreciated.

Solo stay, usually stay in Middle park. Great hotel, room modern and clean, smaller than what I would normally book, work space pretty much unworkable. But will be back. Nice touch, they found me a corkscrew

Was exactly how it was presented on the website. Had a nice lunch in the hotel bar. A good option to be near the city without being right amongst the tall glass tower buildings. 35 min walk or 12 min tram ride to Southern Cross Station. A tad pricey perhaps? But its right near the centre of Melbourne and it reliably delivered what it advertised.

The air conditioning unit was noisy and hard to adjust. Woke many times through the night either too hot or too cold Other than that the place is clean, staff are helpful and parking easy.

Good value for money overall but did have few few inconveniences. -Very less parking options with 2 parking bays on the side which are permit zone so you have to park on main street which is hard during the day. -HVAC unit was pretty loud when heater on and was hard to fall asleep. -Soap holder in shower was pretty sharp and ended up cutting my skin while taking shower.

Queen Deluxe Room

Tks for moving me to larger room after some days. It was not possible to open my suitcase except on the bed in the 'Queen deluxe' room. My new room was adjacent the housekeeping staff workplace where unbearable heat emitted all day. I was very upset there was no air con in their tiny work space with clothes driers on non-stop from 6am-3pm. No fridge for them to keep drinks cold. For this reason I would not stay again. They make the hotel so clean and the rooms so beautiful and deserve better working conditions.
