Wow…that about sums it up!! This little boho cottage nestled on the edge of the dune was a dream for us! We loved the layout, the decorating, the incredible back of the house sitting area and upper deck. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the sounds of the crashing surf.The location of the cottage was a perfect spot - not your typical Florida crowded beach town. It’s located on a narrow peninsula-like stretch of land and the road is lined with lush vegetation, small homes and small beach parking areas. There is a grocery storm and a gas station close by, plus a few locally owned restaurant gems. We recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, laid back experience and a step back in time to when a beach house was a cottage. Truly a dream that we intend to visit again.

Relaxing Stay at the Beach

The location was fantastic. Couldn't beat being right on the beach. The rooms were comfy and perfect for our family of five. The beach was private and not crowded at all. We found so many shells and really enjoyed swimming each day. We also saw baby turtles hatching and turtles laying eggs. We also went to the balcony above the patio and saw a rocket launch. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay! We would definitely come again.

Peaceful Bungalow on the beach!

The beds were all so comfortable and the view being on the beach was absolutely amazing! We hardly left the property, and there is a Publix 3 miles away. There are other houses around but not very many people on the beach because it’s not near a public access. We saw so many turtle in the water and coming on shore every day, there are tracks all over each morning. There isn’t a dish washer (except my hubby haha) but we just got extra paper plates etc to help with clean up. The only “negative” feedback I have is that the fans all need a good cleaning! And the front door needs a latch up high for small children so that it can’t be opened so easily. Thankfully our daughter is almost three and although she opened it easily even when it was locked she thankfully isn’t an escapee! We had the most amazing, laid back week. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with others! We even left a few ocean puzzles behind for others to enjoy. We would definitely suggest longboards for dinner or lunch, the salty bagel every day for breakfast and iced coffee, and Bizzarro pizza! All within 20 min of the property!

Vacation Getaway

The property is exactly as advertised. Beautiful, secluded, and on the beach! Lounging on the patio was like sitting right on the beach and coffee at the wooden bar watching the sunrise is priceless. It was cooler while we were there and the grape trees offered a break from the breeze while still enjoying the sun and view. The property is close to shops, Publix, and Sebastian Inlet and offers everything you need for a home away from home. We can't wait to book our next stay!

Old Florida beach house

The house is nice and clean. Reminds me of how beach houses used to look before high rises started appearing and cluttered the shore line.Obviously the best part is the location right on the beach, very unique and very hard to find these days.JL

Family vacation

We drove 15 hours to stay here from Arkansas. It is a nice property as described in the listing for the most part. Something I read said there was a golf course on property which there was not. It is right on the beach which is pretty sparsely populated giving essentially a private beach front. It has 3 bedrooms, only one of which with an ocean view, with a double bed. One king bed and one double bed in the front of the house. There is what looks like a day bed in the living room someone could potentially sleep on. It has 2 bedrooms, one with tub/shower combo and one small shower. There is a private outside shower to rinse the sand off, which is nice. They have an outside cabinet with several boogy boards and a couple of beach chairs, as well as sand toys if there are little ones. The deck on the roof is a nice option as well. It is sea turtle season, we did get to watch a sea turtle come on the beach to lay her eggs, but did not get to see any baby turtles hatch. We also saw dolphins everyday on our beach. One day we saw a sawfish, right on our beach, which is an endangered species. Cleaning was adequate, not perfect. Would return again. Thank you for the stay.

Private Little Getaway

We loved our stay! It’s right on the beach, we watched a Space X launch, and a mama sea turtle built a nest right next to the house. Sea kayaks included, several kites you can fly, beach games. This property offers a lot! One drawback was the air unit in the back bedroom isn’t working well. It blows just as much hot air as it does cold and the temp stayed around 84. The blind at the kitchen table needs to be darker. Even with the shade closed, a lot of light spilled over onto the dunes

I miss that little beach home! Amazing sunrises every morning. So nice to walk out your door and you’re on the beach. Gods amazing ocean views and sunrises were breathtaking. The place was well equipped with everything we needed. Nice newer gas grill cooked us some awesome dinners. I’m ready to come back.
