"I would stay there again and longer if I had know it was such a great place, it's only a 20 minute drive to cades cove main gate. If you like to walk or run, the townsend main walking and bike trail is in the front yard, its close enough to the gas stations and eatery in townsend that its only a two minute drive to the main ones. Beds would be my only grip, they had spring mattresses and not foam, but still slept great on them."

"We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book this home again. The house was clean, comfortable, and a great place for our vacation. There were a few spots that showed a little wear and a little dust, but nothing that took away from the experience.The only things worth mentioning were that the pool was much farther from the house than we expected based on the listing, and the checkout instructions sent before departure didn’t match the instructions you see when you look for check out instructions on the listing, which made checkout a little confusing in terms of making sure we did what was asked of us. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we’d be happy to return."

"This property did not disappoint. The house and property are beautiful. The host has every essential you need already stocked.I'm so glad we chose this location instead of Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. You are literally 25 minutes from everything without all the businesses of the tourists towns or driving way up a mountain. And, we did it all - hiking two different trails, river tubing, golfing, zip lining, water parks, cavern, aquarium, etc. It was so relaxing to come back and start a fire or sit on the wrap around porch and watch tv.We will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area."

"One word… MAGICAL!!My Husband and I have been coming to the area for years, and this is by far the best trip we have had. Jodee could not have been any sweeter and responsive. We have found our new place to stay whenever we come for a visit. We were a little concerned with not having 4WD, but made it just fine in our Prius. The road back to the cottage is a bit sketchy in some places, but if you are careful and pay attention, you should be just fine. The name “Storybook Cottage” is perfect for this home, as you truly do feel like you are in a storybook. We enjoyed watching the squirrels and chipmunks frolic outside, and enjoyed seeing the hummingbirds as well. We had a daily visit from a cardinal, or visitor from heaven as I like to call them. We even had some daily visits from some bears. That was by far one of our favorite things. We always go to Cades Cove in the hopes of seeing a bear or two in the wild, and loved the fact that we had them right outside the door to watch and enjoy. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us Jodee, we will definitely be back in the future."

"Cabin was as pictured & described. The cabin was clean & had everything we needed for our weekend stay. I only put low stars for communication because I believe like another guest mentioned it seemed to be AI replies or it is a bad translator app. when I asked questions. The bed was very comfy which is always a plus. Hot tub was not used. They said there was not a hot tub in conversations but there listing said there was one & there was on the back deck. There just was no water really in it. So we just didn’t touch it. Figuring its not working. It was hot outside when we came so that really wasn’t an issue. The shower was neat looking but in my opinion a regular standup shower would be more practical & user friendly. There is no switch we saw for jets in tub either. Which we didn’t plan on using anyway but just so others might be aware. I 110% appreciate being able to bring my dog. She had a great time being able to be with us. The only down fall was there really isn't much even ground at the cabin to go potty. We just mostly walked her down the road to the little landing area down there or took her to places on our rides around town that were dog friendly. Sloppy hogs allow dogs on the patio seating which was super nice. Over all I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a pet friendly cabin thats clean & comfortable."
