"The Loft on Lake Laura is very welcoming…sparkling clean and comfortable. Updated with well appointed decor, relaxing furniture (sofa, two chairs, dining table with 4 chairs and a laundry room…which was a real plus)! We kept saying “they thought of everything!” The hosts were kind and helpful. We didn’t really have to buy or bring anything except food. The property has treetops and lake views. We spent time sightseeing and visiting with our family nearby and then we were so happy to come back to the cozy loft to refresh. Our “Happy Place” was sitting on the dock, watching the birds & surrounding nature of peaceful Lake Laura. Great place to rest, relax and restore. Can’t say enough about this beautiful property! Looking forward to our return. "

"We had an amazing time! To seeing the fish right out the door, they're waiting to be fed. To seeing the most amazing bird living right in the bushes by the kayak launch, look out for her!! We paddle boated out to see the sunrise, kayaked, and played lots of games. It was the perfect little weekend away. Thank you so much! We will definitely be coming back again. "

"Dion and Rod are great hosts! They're very attentive and quick to help with any questions we had. They even gave us produce from their garden. They helped with getting the kids set out on kayaks, we were able to buy overflowing wheelbarrows full of good campfire wood, outside games were provided for us, we were able to use their dryer when our tent decided to let the rain soak our daughters duffle bag full of clothes, and they showed us how to manage the ac. We were allowed to have a tent by us which was very nice, but i recommend moving it every couple of days because I'm pretty sure we killed the grass where ours was. The area is very quiet, very peaceful and kind neighborhood. The camper slept comfortably for our family of five. Dion and Rod were available to take us on a tour on the lakes. We even stopped to let the kids swim. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you Dion and Rod for the generous hospitality. Sorry for the late review ;)"

They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was incredible—Sandy makes the most incredible homemade treats, The room was spotless and cozy, and we both enjoyed a wonderfully restful night’s sleep.
