「This is a very cozy and friendly riad. I enjoyed chatting with the staff and even other guests during breakfast. I heard the owner is German, and you can notice some German equipment in the bathroom. The original doors and windows in the rooms add a special charm to the guesthouse. If you’re traveling with a suitcase, be prepared for some ups and downs on the way from the Parador Hotel rotary, where taxis drop you off. Special thanks to Walid for introducing me to carob, a local specialty!」

「Staff were nice. Property not maintained properly. Same breakfast menu every day 😟」

「An absolute gem… and we were lucky enough to be their very first guests! My 14-year-old son and I were backpacking through Morocco when he spotted this riad on Expedia during our bus ride to Chefchaouen. We arrived just an hour later and were greeted warmly by the kind, multilingual staff, who told us the newly renovated riad had only just opened its doors, and we were the first to walk through them. While our room was being prepared, we settled into the café downstairs for what turned out to...

「We spent 6-nights here at this Riad which is higher up in the Médina: we were able to walk to the city centre. For our month long Moroccan holiday we decided to stay at quality Riads as they provide a reasonably authentic experience: our previous ones were great to terrific. This Riad is neither of those! We could go on for many lines in this review of the many frustrating times we endured here but we won’t because it might seem to many that such an establishment surely couldn’t be that...

「Stayed for 2 nights with a family of 4. We loved it, mostly because of the staff. They are amazing and super helpful. The accommodation is not particularly easy to find and there is no designated parking but the staff came and got us from the main road, helped us find parking in a local garage, then carried our suitcases up the entire hill and into our room. So the lack of luxury, having private parking was a non-issue. Also when visiting chefchaouen you can't really expect parking or easy...
