The owners were incredibly kind and understanding and graciously allowed me to come back the following weekend, which I truly appreciated.I ended up spending the weekend solo in the main cabin, and it was exactly the retreat I needed. The setting is peaceful and beautiful—perfect for reading, sitting by the fire, taking in the views, and enjoying some quiet time. In the evenings, I drove into Bandera for dinner, which is only about a 20-minute, very scenic drive from Center Point.The king-size bed was extremely comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to cook my meals. The internet worked perfectly, and I had no trouble streaming on the Roku, though I mostly chose to unplug, read, and enjoy the solitude.This place is a true getaway and a wonderful spot to disconnect and recharge. I will absolutely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for peace, comfort, and a genuine escape."
