Great Stay

I really liked the Hotel. I had a small misunderstanding regarding the booking (My Confusion :) ) but the front desk and the booking manager were very supportive and they helped me fix the issue. The complementary room service dinner was a very nice gesture. Thanks a lot! Location was very close to the ladies entrance which was a very important feature.

The washroom was awful, not very tidy or clean. Breakfast was average. Good thing was that it was 2 minutes away from Ladies /gents entrance to the masjid Al-Nabawi.

The property is outdated with water leaking from Ac and in bathroom, needs fittings and furniture upgrade, lift always busy, Reception at level 1 and not easy to find. Breakfast was good and staff tried to help as much they can but property condition is no way near 5 star.

The staff was very courteous and helpful from the check-in with Mr. Sultan the duty manager who made sure we got the best room and to the food and beverage manager Jainul Abidin who made sure that we were served the best quality food and appetizing menu every day which we thoroughly enjoyed. Wayle has trained his team really well which makes the place special. The property is located in the best area and is very accessible, but we think it needs a major upgrade. the rooms and bathrooms are quite old, and one would expect a better facility. If they can upgrade the room and increase the number of housekeeping staff this would be the place to stay whenever we visit Madina.

Location is amazing, direct access to Haram . However , service level is too bad . The maintenence of the facilities is almost never done in the past few years. House keeping is very poor . The very big property is serviced with 6 elivators ONLY , which is causing massive inconvenience during prayer times.

Stay away from this hotel.

This hotel smells like cigarettes and Sewerage. They use a lot of electronic Air Purifiers and Perfumes but it just add insult to injury. There is no customer service since no one answers the telephone to help you with any room service issues. We had no hot water, no bathroom light, no clothing hooks inside the bathroom, no fresh towels and no water. Seems like we checked into a motel 8. Actually no offense to motel 8 they are definitely better than this hotel. They only positive thing about this hotel besides we made it out well was the location to the Haram. Yes, absolutely amazing location, very near to female gate and this 1 thing trumps anything else we suffered. The only regret is that please do not pay the premium price they charge, we were sucked into paying almost over $ 450 USD/ night. I will not ever recommend this hotel to anyone with a family due to extremely poor hygiene condition of this hotel.

The positive of this property is the location, it is 5min walking distance to gate 330 and close to women’s prayer area gate 17. size of family suite and view. The negatives are rooms are poorly maintained and dated. Sink in bathroom not attached and moves, shower room for same bathroom poorly designed with no hot water. Plug socket broken in living room with electrical wires exposed. WiFi signal very slow. Room cleaning is a major let down, contacted 3 times and finally came after 20.45 and then 2 other days at 22.00 when trying to sleep and do not disturb light on. Be prepared to wait a long long time for the lifts, and same lifts being used for services for luggage and no priority given to paying guest. Hot breakfast was often cold and below average except for the fresh omelette which is made fresh to order.

They don’t give the rooms that you book, they give you whatever is available even though you have paid for a certain room. Also the hotel has an automatic airfreshner that makes your brain melt. And all guests were unplugging them from the hallways and the staff kept plugging them back in
