Amazing stay! Beautiful area and accommodations. We had the place to ourselves and very private. Would go back and stay again! It is set up as a wedding venue so check ahead for availability first, I know we will.
Stock’s Manor is a great bed and breakfast! We didn ’t get a chance to stay very long, but the property was beautiful! The view of the surrounding area was spectacular and everything was very quiet. The blueberry pancakes that were served for breakfast were fantastic! It appears that the Manor has plenty of space for events. I can’t think of a better setting in the area for a gathering of some sort.
I loved that the home was built in the late 1700's and the decor and furnishing matched that era with the amenities from 2022. I also enjoyed walking around the area. I got a great several miles in walking up hills amongst the fall foliage.
It was also very close to everything I needed to be in Mechanicsburg.
Stocks was a great place to stay. KJ was so energetic, fun to talk to and provided excellent customer service. The bed was comfortable and the food was delicious. They were even able to cater to us being gluten free! Even though there was a wedding and a rain storm that took a tree branch down while we were there, we never felt ignored nor brushed aside for anything we needed. KJ gave fantastic restaurant suggestions for dinner and we were not disappointed. We look forward to staying again!
The room was lovely, and the whole experience was just great. Two suggestions. A reading light on both sides of the bed was sorely missed, and lighting in the bathroom was dim. I must admit I looked terrific in the miror, but putting on makeup was a challenge. Aside from that, Steve and KJ, you get five stars. Best, Enid and Paul
Our two night stay at Stocks Manor was perfect. We were warmly welcomed by Stephen when we pulled up and immediately felt comfortable. Our room was beautiful with lovely furnishings, a very comfortable King bed and a clean and modern bathroom. Flat screen t.v., iPod adaptive clock radio and free WiFi provided our modern comforts.
The grounds/view are just beautiful and our breakfasts were divine.
Stephen and his wife KJ went out of their way to create a dining experience that was more than just good food. The dining room and table settings were fitting for this grand old home and along with our relaxed conversation with the owners, made for a delicious time in more ways than one.
We love to stay at B&Bs for the personal touches and homey feel and Stocks Manor gave us just that and more!
Our experience was like spending time with friends. The house was clean and attractive, while the breakfast was on time and delicious. We felt very well cared for! They have spoiled us to the point that a hotel can only be a let-down.
Most beautiful venue in the area. Pictures were beautiful

The venue is set up primarily to do catering for weddings and large parties. A large banquet room extending off the main house is clearly a draw. The B&B is a side line and an afterthought. There are only two bedrooms in the B&B (both on the second floor), so we were the only couple staying there. The bedroom with adjoining bath was smalll, but adequate and the king-sized bed was extremely comfortable. Air conditioning, plumbing, painting, etc. were all clearly new, and the formal dining room was lovely, but there were not welcoming seating areas in the public areas--no place where two couples could sit comfortably to chat, no place to read, etc.
Wonderful stay at quiet venue with friendly hosts. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful setting. It felt good not to use a roadside chain for a few nights and we plan on returning.
Beautiful rooms, buildings and property. This is more of an event venue than a true B&B. Upon arrival, I had to ask for water, there weren't snacks - not a cookie to be found and the property is remote. Also after everyone checked in the hosts left. We did not see them at all.
Breakfast was excellent. The tea and actual dish service was lovely.
