A little slice of heaven

  • A little slice of heaven. Create some lasting memories and fun experiences with family and friends in an authentic log cabin.

    The open floor plan cabin sleeps 12, There is everything you need for your stay with a fully stocked kitchen, simply bring your favorite grocery items.

    Plenty of parking on either side of cabin. One drive way is 100 feet long for trailers and larger toys. The other driveway is 35x35.

    You are only a short 2 mile drive to town with many attractions. Take your vehicles, dune buggies and ATV’s out on the dunes and enjoy an exhilarating day of adventure. As the sun starts to set, head over to "sunset hill" and watch a spectacular sunset. Have your camera ready.

    Plenty of seating around the fire pit with views of the lake. Enjoy a quiet relaxing evening around the fire with a bottle of wine from a local winery or pick up a growler from Big Hart Brewery

    To continue your fun vacation, a short drive from the cabin, you will find golf courses, a light house to climb, hiking trails, bike trails, miniature golf and Craigs Crusiers.

    White Birch Cabin provides all the comforts of home while giving you a Pure Michigan vacation. You will want to come back time and time again.

Cabin was great.. stocked with more than most rentals. Close to the dunes , sleeps more than you’d expect for this size cabin . We will be back ! Terry was great working with us on weather issues to make sure we enjoyed the most time up north possible!

Great girls weekend!

Plenty of space for sleeping and great amenities in terms of paper products, coffee, etc that some rentals don’t have. Only downside we had was lack of a big table we could all sit at for cards / games, but nice cabin!

Cozy cabin!

Plenty of room to spread out when wanted on different levels but still feels cozy on the main level. The owners were super friendly and responded very quickly to any messages before or during our stay. The basement gets nice a cool easy for those who are hot sleepers! Nice and close to things while still being in a quiet community, all the locals we met while staying their were very friendly.

We had a great time! The homeowners provide a lot! There’s plenty of places for a lot of people to sleep, we had 13 in beds and 1 in a crib. The outdoor games and large outside table were a huge bonus we didn’t know about. We would definitely stay here again.

Magnificence at Lake Michigan

Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood this charming cabin warmly welcomes you in! The kids loved having so many options for sleeping arrangements, access to a cornhole game, and an entire basement to themselves. The adults deeply the bottle of local wine awaiting after a long car ride!! SO small details made a difference- washer and 2 dryers, plenty of extra linens and towels, everything you need on a kitchen, and 3 TVs to keep all satisfied! The location was fantastic and so many attrqctions were at our finger tips. We feel so very grateful to have stayed here! White Birch Cabin is what you're looking for- Promise.

Perfect Family Getaway!

The White Birch Cabin was perfect for our family getaway up on Upper Silver Lake! It was the perfect size for two couples and one 4-person family with kids. We had a blast on the pontoon for the day, and even managed to meet the property owner to review details of the pontoon operation while he was in town. He provided some great restaurant recommendations as well. We enjoyed time at the firepit in the evenings. Overall, a great experience and we'd highly recommend the White Birch Cabin!

Great location

First time staying on upper silver lake as we usually stay on big silver lake. This property was right across from the lake where the pontoon was making it easy to head over and go out on the lake. The kids loved fishing and swimming at the many association spots that had floating docks. The cabin itself is very pretty and clean with multiple sleeping areas. The eating space inside is small with high chairs that were challenging for the kids to sit on but there is a huge picnic table on the deck that we ate most of our meals on. Terry and Mike were great hosts, would stay again.

Lady’s getaway!

Came to Upper Silver Lake for relaxation and kayaking. Location was good , lake right across the street. However it is not a good spot to play or put in kayaks. There was a spot just down the street to put in, had to trailer kayaks there. Rented the pontoon for the day. That was great! We enjoyed the pontoon for the entire day!! The house accommodation were as stated but the house was not real clean. Gas grill needed to be cleaned also. Beds were comfortable. House accommodates 12 people but there is not seating or table room for that many. There was 7 of us and it was hard to play board games as there is not a table big enough. There is an outside picnic table to use. Firepit and benches around it are nice. Would possibly stay again but would like it to be much cleaner.

Great location!

This property was great for our family vacation! The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet which was great at night but it is very conveniently located near all sorts of other activities and things to do. There are several places close by to get groceries and the kitchen was well-equipped to be able to cook meals at the house. Our family all slept comfortably and enjoyed our stay!
