The swimming pool is seasonal and is generally available from approximately the May long weekend through Thanksgiving, weather permitting.

★ LOCATION ★

Woodski Mountain Retreat is located in a rural setting between Meaford, Thornbury and Blue Mountain, putting some of Southern Georgian Bay’s best attractions within an easy drive.

The property is located just off Highway 26, making it convenient to reach year-round. The home and outdoor areas are set back from the road with mature trees around the property; however, this is not a remote backcountry location and some passing road traffic may occasionally be noticeable.

From skiing and snowboarding in winter to beaches, golf, cycling and hiking in summer, there’s something nearby in every season.

Thornbury is just minutes away with restaurants, cafés, shops and its picturesque harbour, while Blue Mountain Village offers skiing, dining, shopping, entertainment and year-round activities.

A vehicle is strongly recommended for your stay. Free on-site parking is provided, and the location offers easy access to Meaford, Thornbury, Georgian Bay and Blue Mountain.

♛ IMPORTANT INFORMATION ♛

★ OCCUPANCY ★

Maximum occupancy is 10 guests, with a maximum of 8 adults. All guests must be registered on the reservation.

The nightly rate includes up to 6 guests. Each additional guest beyond 6 is subject to a $50 per person, per night fee, up to the maximum occupancy of 10.

★ NATURAL PROPERTY ★

The property includes sloped terrain, wooded areas and a creek that is often dry during summer.

While there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy, there are no maintained hiking trails throughout the property.

Children should be supervised outdoors, particularly around the hill, creek, swimming pool and hot tub.

★ POOL SEASON & MAINTENANCE ★

The heated swimming pool is seasonal and weather dependent. The hot tub is available year-round.

Because this is a large rural property with extensive outdoor areas and a seasonal pool, occasional outdoor maintenance may take place during a guest stay. This can include pool servicing, lawn care or landscaping.

The pool is professionally serviced weekly during pool season, typically on Fridays. Service providers remain outdoors and will not enter the home. Whenever possible, we will provide advance notice of other scheduled maintenance, although landscaping schedules may change due to weather.

★ FIRE PIT & FIREWOOD ★

An outdoor fire pit is available for guest use. Firewood is not provided, so please bring your own or purchase it locally if you would like to have a fire.

All fires must comply with local fire restrictions and burn bans.

★ KIDS’ CRAFT SHED ★

A small outdoor craft shed is located near the pool as an additional activity space for children. This is a casual kids’ craft area rather than a finished indoor art studio. Children should be supervised while using it.

★ PET POLICY ★

Approved non-shedding dogs are welcome with prior approval. Additional pet fees apply. Please contact us before booking if you plan to bring a dog.

★ SECURITY CAMERAS ★

For safety, security and property monitoring, exterior security cameras are installed around the property.

One exterior camera is positioned toward and monitors the swimming pool and hot tub area. Guests using the pool and hot tub may be within the camera’s field of view. Additional exterior cameras monitor the property perimeter and entrance.

There are no cameras or recording devices inside the home.

★ NO SMOKING ★

Smoking is not permitted inside the home. Evidence of indoor smoking may result in additional charges for odour removal and cleaning.

★ NO PARTIES OR UNAPPROVED EVENTS ★

Parties and unapproved events are not permitted. If you are planning a special gathering during your stay, please contact us before booking to determine whether it can be accommodated.

★ GUEST ACCESS & SUPPORT ★

Guests have access to the home, seasonal swimming pool, year-round hot tub, fire pit, sledding hill and advertised outdoor amenities. The garage and designated owner/storage areas are not available to guests.

We give our guests space to relax and enjoy the property, but we are available by phone, text or VRBO messaging if you need assistance during your stay. Local help can also be arranged when necessary.

★ Occupancy & Visitors ★
- Maximum occupancy is 10 guests total, with no more than 8 adults.
- All guests must be included on the reservation. Unregistered visitors are not permitted on the property without prior approval.
- The nightly rate includes up to 6 guests. Each additional guest beyond 6 is subject to a $50 per person, per night fee, up to the maximum occupancy of 10.
- If additional guests are found on the property who were not included or approved on the reservation, a $200 per person, per night fee may apply.
- Significant occupancy violations may result in cancellation of the reservation without refund.

★ Pets ★
- A maximum of 2 dogs are permitted with prior approval.
- Dogs must be non-shedding or low-shedding and must be included on the reservation with the applicable pet fee.
- Dogs must remain on leash while outdoors.
- Pets are not permitted on beds or furniture.
Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets both indoors and outdoors.-
- Any unapproved pet may result in a $500 fee and may lead to cancellation of the stay.
