"The hot tub had a black film on top, pool are was absolutely trashed, wet towels all over be floor, mold on the ceiling tiles. It smelled like chemicals so bad it burned my eyes. The elevator was gross, wet floor all the time and incredibly slow. Everything in the room was worn down. Overall we just couldn’t wait to get out of there. "

"I had high hopes for this hotel since it is only 5 or so years old, but sadly I was very disappointed! The floor is vinyl plank which showed all of the lint, dust, and hair all over it. It was like the cleaning staff had not even bothered to vacuum or sweep the floor. I arrived late on a Sunday night so I had to wait until Monday to go to the store and buy a Swiffer Wet Mop and clean my own room to feel comfortable enough to stay there for a 2 week stay. The other major problem with this hotel was the noise. There were 2 main noise problems. The 1st was that it is situated right next to I-275 freeway and even though I was in the room furthest from the freeway, there were times of the day that the freeway noise was crazy loud. The 2nd noise problem was with the building construction. Again being only 5 years old I expected it to be well built; however, it appears the builders skimped on sound deadening insulation because even though I only had 1 neighbor next to me and 1 above me, I could hear pretty much every movement. I imagine the people above me were just walking around, but it sounded like they were jumping up and down and stomping their feet all the time. The walls between rooms are so thin that I could hear my neighbor's cell phone ringing, & it was set on vibrate. I thought my own phone was ringing but it was the neighbor's phone. I would say the one bright spot of this hotel was the lady doing check-in/out. I didn't get her name, but she was very nice and helpful!"

"The property was passable. It seems like an older location which would use a love. Worn carpet in the room, a musty smell in the hallway. A lot of the cleanliness issues in the public areas stemmed from trash piled up by the doors, inside and out, which made you feel like it was a low-budget roadway motel, not what you would expect from Holiday Inn. The biggest issue was that I checked in on Friday, I was out all day Saturday, and when I got back to the room after 5 pm, there had been no service, the bed had not been made, the trash had not been picked up, no clean towels, coffee had not been restocked, just the way I left it. I went to the Front Desk to confirm I had indicated no service for that day and to check, because I know some hotels have started skipping service on multiday visits unless you ask. After checking the Froct desk indicated that the room had just been skipped and offered to send someone. It was late, I was tired after a long day, I had a clean towel, I said I was fine for now, but I just wanted some additional coffee pods. They handed them over, and I went back to the room. About an hour and a half later, there was a knock on my door, housekeeping offering me towels, trash pickup, and everything that should have been earlier. I was actually already in bed; I declined. It was too late in the evening, and as I lay there, I heard knocking on other doors; I had not been the only room skipped. The hotel was serviceable, but odds are I will not be back."

"This was my third time staying here and honestly I can’t thank Raj and the entire hotel staff enough! They were amazing and accommodating!! Room was clean, breakfast was great pool and hot tub were clean as well as the gym! This is our go to when staying in Michigan!!! Thank you again Raj and the entire hotel staff!!"
