McNaughton Fields

I recently stayed at this historic hotel, and while the property was clean, charming, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating, my overall experience was mixed. The rooms were very outdated, and we had a few issues, including a slightly leaking toilet and no window view in the king room. The hotel also had no nearby shops, and the small on-site food shop closed early. The location did not feel very safe, which affected our comfort. Parking was also difficult, with valet costing $50 per night and no on-site parking, so we had to use public parking and spend extra on Uber rides. Check-out time was also challenging, as the elevators became very crowded with guests leaving, making it difficult for us to go down from the 12th floor with luggage. Overall, while the staff, cleanliness, and historic charm were excellent, the outdated rooms, location, parking situation, and check-out experience made the stay less comfortable than expected.

I did not see shops per se. However, Camden yards was a short walk away.
