This property is so cozy and welcoming. It has tons of space and plenty of room for everyone to hang out. The hot tub is so relaxing and you can see Wisp across the street. We enjoyed playing games and the extensive library that the house has. It’s close to everything which is also great. I highly recommend this property.

Quaint and Cozy

We are a family of 4 with two kids under 3. We stayed for an extended weekend and this was a perfect place for us. The layout is very open, everything was very clean, and exactly as described. In addition, the power went out briefly and Vacasa was extremely responsive in addressing the outage even though it was an issue in the area and not specific to the property. We would definitely stay again during future trips to the area.

Great little house, good location

House was so clean. I agree with the other reviews it needs some updating. No much silverware but we made it work. Beds were comfy and if there could be a bathroom upstairs it would be over the top great!!

Always a good home for Deep Creek

I've stayed at Life's A Bear several times over the last 13 years and it has always been a good home to rent. The house is dated, but it's solid and the location is great. The hot tub (same hot tub for 13 years now) and rear deck could use some updating (some boards are very weak), but again the house is solid and the location is great.

Excellent place for a long getaway

This location was just what we needed. Secluded enough but you could still see the highway. Super close to restaurants and breweries. We plan on coming back.

Great spot

The property was very clean and it’s a nice big space. Pretty much all you need. We had an issue with the internet but property management called and helped. Not enough of a signal for zoom call, oculus or Alexa/firetv once we got it up and running. The only issues we experienced were very minor, not enough to give any kind of bad review: The house is not quite as secluded as it seems in the photo (hot tub visible from road / neighbors, windows don’t have curtains and it felt a little like a fishbowl). No movie channels or ability to use our firetv, Alexa, etc.

If someone is looking for the Ritz-Carlton they won't find it here HOWEVER if their looking for a cozy - home feeling THIS is it!! We had a wonderful time here - it just felt right The hot tub worked, there were ample TVs and so many rooms for everyone to have a place to go Plus it was close to everything We couldn't have asked for a better place to be!!!! Thank you for letting us rent this home ❤️
