"Our first time to NS, not fully appreciating how beautiful this part of the southern coast really is. This cottage is right in the heart of it, and offers a most serene respite from the otherwise very busy Polly’s Cove only a few miles away. The cottage is extremely clean and very well maintained. One last shout out to our host Matthew who is most diligent with any requests you may have. Stay there, you won’t regret it."

"Clean and well kept cottage. Handy to small beaches and restaurants in Hubbards. Bathroom sink is tiny and a little awkward to use. No hairdryer and no safety shower mat (if you have mobility issues) so bring those."

"We enjoyed our 4 night stay at The Lodge. The ocean view and sunrises were awesome. The house was comfortable and had lots of room to hang out when we were not out checking out all the nearby attractions. Could maybe use a few more plates and cutlery along with dish towels which we could not find. All around a good first Vrbo experience. "

"Great location, good value. Cozy and comfortable for a week’s vacation. Only challenge is accessibility, I had assumed that both main floor bedrooms would be usable for adults but the small bed is just foam on plywood, so it isn’t practical for an adult to sleep in that room."

"Choose this site as it was only a 10 minute drive from Harbour Mist, a gorgeous waterfront event venue for our nieces wedding. The place AJs exactly as seen in online photos but the view from both inside and outside more stunning! Luckily this place is in a great location for beach (5 minutes), Lunenburg & Mahoney Bay (40 minutes); Peggy’s Cove (45 minutes) and Halifax approximately 45 minutes. "Room was located next to washing machines and dryers. This was quite loud while in use but bearable. Property had all the amenities to make it an enjoyable downtown stay without the huge price tag that comes with most options for the area. Parked in a nearby Parkade that was a quick walk down the street and was also lower priced for the area. Will definitely use this location again. "
