"Upon arrival, after we got settled, etc...we were greeted by our Hostess Mickey & her dog Alice. She was so gracious & showed us all around the property, taught us a lot about Alpacas & her history with them. The 3 AC property is well cared for, tidy & the Barnhaus we stayed in was clean, comfy & had all the things necessary to cook, etc. We loved the front porch the day we arrived - enjoyed the breeze in the aspens & pines. I recommend this to anyone seeking something off the beaten path, as this home is about 3 miles down a gravel road, off of Hwy 4. Our last evening we had a heard of black angus (open range) cattle wander across the driveway, which was really cool."

"Great spot for a long weekend. Not too far into town and easy walk into Central area (coffee shops, Fuller Lodge, Ashley Pond)- 1mile. Ample parking. 1 split unit to cool the house. Great living room and big TV. Front bedroom had black out shades. Back bedroom did not. This was a miss for us as sun woke up and warmed up early. Bathroom was clean, but tub and sink are stained/wearing. Kitchen is small, serviceable with plenty of utensils, pots, dishes, coffee and coffee maker. Grill utensils were missing. Iron and ironing board were awesome! Plenty of clean towels, extra blankets and pillows, shampoos and lotion as well as cleaning supplies. Overall, I would not stay with more than 3 people, as 1 toilet is hard to share. That said, everything needed was there! I suggest owner use less fragrant laundry detergent and add mattress covers and move linens, vacuum, ironing board to the front room storage closest to free up space in the clothes closest for guest items. We enjoyed the porch and morning deer visits!"
