Property was generally clean, felt safe, was close to most amenities, and the staff were courteous. I dislike the fact that when I would go to the front desk I would often have to wait for a staff member to come out of their office and on departure early morning there wasn't anyone at the front desk.

The hotel is clean and neat. Unlimited coffee plus breakfast is so good—many foods to choose from. I will come back again. The location is easily accessible for getting around town. It was my first time visiting McAllen, and I had no trouble navigating the area. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and to anyone who reads my comments.

Very dirty!!!

Hotel seems to be kind of new, but the reality is that the inside of the hotel is not well maintained. Dirty elevators, dirty carpets and dirty room. It seems like the vacuum was never used on the carpet. One day, my room wasn’t cleaned at all, and I had to ask for towels and shower gel at the front desk.

We had the best experience at this hotel. From the time we arrived, with the welcoming check in, to the fast check out. The breakfast was hot and delicious, with many options. The coffee was excellent. We were so happy about coming back each day to a clean room with fresh towels. And the dove products in the bathroom, was the icing on the cake! Ive been to many hotels in the area. This was the best one, we'll be staying there when we come out to the valley from now on!

No one at front desk in the middle of the day for check-in for a few minutes. Room smelled like old, wet gym shoes as soon as we walked in...noted most of the carpet was damp. AC was cold but noisy, like it was near to breaking down. Window blind was worn/torn but we were able to make it work. Couch had a pretty sizeable hole/tear ~2 inches on top of back. One of the pillows smelled really bad, like maybe it was on the floor and picked up the smell from it. Asked desk about something to help with the odor and they gave us a spray bottle...so we did the work for them...it didn't help too much. Walls were thin...we believe there was a family above us since there was "running" noises like kids running around, which started around 4am both mornings we were there and battled the AC noise in our attempts to sleep. One of the two breakfast area coffee makers broke on 2nd morning we were there.

NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE. Non ADA

Unprofessional staff. Room advertised, booked and paid for, yet was unavailable when I showed up. Staff was not knowledgeable, not helpful and refused to give their names. They advertise wheelchair accessible rooms, charged me for it and the rooms were not wheelchair accessible. I called before arriving and specifics were confirmed by hotel staff. Totally ruined my travel plans, had to find another location that did fulfill my mobility needs. 5 days later and I still have not received my refund!
