"Room was clean, staff was very polite, pool appeared dirty however it was too cold to swim. The hotel needs to be reconditioned. Elevator needs a makeover badly...workout area is unusable. Overall ok but in need of updates"

"The hotel had a lightening strike during our stay and was without electricity for about 6 hours, and the elevator was out for the last evening and checkout morning of our stay. While this wasn’t their fault, I would have liked to have seen the management work to have additional staff on hand to help guests that needed help to get breakfast or get help with luggage. I understand these were extenuating circumstances, but their breakfast and coffee were so superior, I was surprised at the seeming inability to go above and beyond in the emergency situation."

"The host is great and we love this property. It is located close to our children and on a pretty lake. We love to sit outside and watch the birds on the lake. The house is very nice also. It is way better then staying in a hotel. We will be back the next time we come to visit!"
