And it’s off the beaten path, situated a couple of hours from Merida and an hour or so from Uxmal. Staff is friendly, laid back and hospitable. Couldn’t have loved the vibe more. Perfect. "

Communication was limited--no map of area and no receipt for cash payment. Walked on short trail that had no signage or map and ran into what looked like an old Mayan stone house."
