"Easiest check in with codes sent to your phone or email. Internet was good, streaming and casting from phone to TV. The fact that there was a washer and dryer was a blessing, you can only do small loads, but I'll take anything when traveling with a small child. "What a wonderful place to spend 7 days & nights. Done a fair bit of driving through the Fjords over a couple of trips and the road up to Urke and our final destination takes some beating. Amazing place. An added bonus was getting out onto the Fjord on the boat that comes with wth cottage. Thank you Thorunn for all your help and advice which all added to making it an unforgettable few days."

"The pictures set some high expectations, but the location was even more amazing. There is a cabin behind this one, but no one is close on the front, so the views are wonderful and the area feels very private. The cabin itself is very spacious, with high ceilings upstairs and a lot of sleeping options. Great outdoor seating on the porch, and a charcoal grill. The town is super small, but only a short walk away and there’s a great local pub right on the water."

"This house is the perfect location if you want to get away from it all. The proprietors were unbelievably hospitable and kind. It is not unusual to be awakened by sheep bleating, along with their bells. The view is stunning, and because of the latitude, you get to see it very late and early in the day. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher. If possible, I would definitely like to go back."

"What a wonderful hotel! The beds were the most comfortable I have experienced in all of Norway. Loved the large family room- especially the blackout curtains and the free coffee/ hot chocolate was a nice welcome. Walkable to the downtown area and tons of gorgeous restaurants. On street parking was easy and not too expensive. Only picky complaint is that the shower was so small (the bathroom itself is huge). Would definitely stay again! "

"The staff was very helpful and friendly. We only ate at one of the restaurants but it was one of our favorite meals ! Fresh and delicious mussels with great French fries ! A huge delicious chicken Caesar salad. The bar had amazing cocktails. We knew from walking into the lobby with the biggest fireplace I’ve ever seen we were in for a treat ! The bed was comfortable . We could walk everywhere so the location is perfect too. We hope to return one day!"

"Lovely decorations and sitting area. Nice breakfast. Very comfortable beds. Staff helpful. Very near bustop for airport. Good recommendation for dinner as restaurant shut on Sunday. Coffee machine leaked and they could not change it or offer coffee on Sunday. Also very messy but we cleaned up with towels. "
