「 What a lovely cottage! Having the en suite instead of a main floor bathroom was a blessing.We didn’t get to meet Carmel, but Joe was lovely. He likes a bit of craic & had some lovely suggestions for our stay. The internet connections a bit spotty, but it sounds as though it’s being worked on.」

「Our family of 8 (4 couples) really enjoyed our stay in Doolin. The Cottage is in a great location and the property manager did communicate with us when we had a problem with cold showers (we didn't know what time that the water heater would be on). Doolin is very walkable and the cottage had a great game selection for our family. No real grocery store in town so pick up groceries before you arrive. We did miss an actual coffee maker, but the French press worked for a few cups. 」

「Was situated just right to be able to travel around and visit all the must see sites in Connemara. Road was busy at certain times but didnt distract from the peaceful area. Would definitely need a car, but plenty of parking at the house and free parking available at all visitor sites.」

The showers were particularly nice - hot and great water pressure - and you appreciate this all the more if you’ve spent the day out in the wind and rain. A short drive to Doolin and the Cliffs. 「Our family of four was surrounded by lush greenery and Irish hillside in an authentic country cottage. We enjoyed watching the sheep roam the yard everyday. The calmness of the place was amazing. We had everything we needed. We were able to grocery shop a few miles away and cook at the cottage to save money for our adventures. Our children played the board games and hiked around the property. 」

「We took a 30th girls trip and the owners made our stay so memorable. They were so nice and were more than happy to talk to us!
