"We were very disappointed in this hotel. The word Boutique in the title threw us off. The lobby is very nice, but you don’t sleep in the lobby. We were looking forward to a special experience, but it was little better than a hostel. The heater/air conditioner made noise constantly and sounded like somebody was dragging a plastic bag through a shredder. We turned it off before we went to sleep and the air was fine in the room. So the air temperature was good but the bedding provided no warmth whatsoever; in fact it was cold. Had a terrible sleep and ended up wrapping myself up in just a blanket like a sleeping bag. That worked.And the floor was super hard, for those who have sensitive feet. It was a glorified Motel 8, with some cute painting splashed on the concrete Thruway and a nice cedar swing in the back. There are two Tesla chargers for someone who might have an electric car. We got the heck out of dodge very early. I would not recommend this place."

"The view of the Pacific steals the show. The person at the hotel reception was incredibly friendly, polite, and courteous. The pizza restaurant is excellent. It is a difficult drive, as the road is winding and at a high elevation, but once you arrive, you can enjoy the view and the dark-sand beaches."

"We had a wonderful stay at this quaint cottage. The check-in and check-out process was incredibly easy and hassle-free, which made everything feel smooth from start to finish. The cottage had a charming Victorian style with lots of character and thoughtful details that made it feel cozy and inviting. It was a lovely place to relax after a day of exploring. The location was convenient, and the peaceful atmosphere added to the overall experience. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return for another visit."

"This place is all about location. The experience in a 2-room suite was like staying at the home of an elderly relative who hasn’t updated their furnishings since the 70s. The rooms were spacious but a bit musty and quite worn. But it’s half a block to the main street so overall it’s a good choice if you don’t mind the thin walls and shag carpeting."
