"My biggest complaint with the place is that VRBO allowed the host to list a washer/dryer as an amenity when only a laundry service is available. Laundry services are available everywhere.Otherwise, everything was as expected. The rooms were clean. The host emailed back very quickly. Direction in Costa Rica are tricky, but the host chatted with me to make sure we got there and had someone show us around when we arrived. The house rules were simple and clear. It's really in the jungle so we had to be very careful with food which is perfectly fair. One thing worth noting is that when you leave the property you exit to a gravel road that feels more like an alleyway. It's not something I would downgrade the place for, but it is worth noting. We always felt safe but we traveled during rainy season and the gravel road was very muddy as we walked to the main road. If you rent a car, it may be less of an issue."

"Great property and the owners live on the grounds and were super helpful. Great family. Everything was great but make sure if you need AC you get the rooms with the units. Some do not have it and I asked beforehand so I was prepared. Other than that, loved it, and would definitely stay again. Seeing a real sloth cross the street and go into the property was the highlight!"
