"It is an older Buddhist temple and feels wonderful to be in a place with such character and history. The meals (all are vegetarian in accordance with Buddhist tradition) are a delicious delight. This is from one who is not a vegetarian! The service is personal and sincerely caring. I would recommend visiting Daisen and staying there. "

"Owner is very nice, they provide free Onsen which is hot enough and they also allow me to go shower and onsen after I check out to hiking on Daisen. The location is very close to bus stop, very convenient."

Was only sent the unlocking number after I messaged (did not receive an email that was supposed to be sent 24 hrs before check-in). "The facilities and services are great. Big main Onsen Bath, along with great souvenirs shop & free wine/sake offer to hotel guesses between 5-6pm. Staffs are very polite and fluent in English. Happy with the stay. We enjoy very much. "

"The facility looks definitely tired and old. Threr are many other hotels closer to the main railway station. However its pricey is quite reasonable and the bed & bath room was good enough for a day trip. "
