Family time
We had a very memorable time with family at this stunningly beautiful and well cared for home. What a spectacular setting. Plenty of room for a large extended family. It was truly a pleasure!!!! Would highly recommend.

Fall trip with friends
We came to the area to ride the rail bikes. We decided to find a place to spend the night and make it a real fun trip. We luck out when we found this place. It was beautiful, roomy and made for a great getaway for all of us.

Cousins Girls Weekend
This home is immaculately cared for, and located in a peaceful location within 20 minute drive to quaint shops in Cooperstown or Oneonta. It is spacious enough for 12 women to sleep and visit very comfortably. There’s is an open floor plan on the main floor with seating in the living room, dining room, and kitchen island so we were all able to spend time together comfortably. There is a second living room downstairs on the lower level so there was also space to retreat if you needed a little less laughter. There is also a lot of closet space. The property owner was a delight. We do this trip annually (for about a decade) and this home has been our favorite.

A fabulous home! Close enough to Cooperstown to enjoy without the crowds. Amazing beds and bathrooms with fine linens and plenty of towels. Several comfortable gathering areas and a very well stocked kitchen. Beautiful rural area with a very nice laundry facility. The host was extremely responsive. As if that’s not enough there is a gas grill and fire pit available for use. This would be my first choice if ever in the area again.

A Must Stay!
Sunset Lodge and its surroundings are simply gorgeous! The owner is so amazing and kind. I'm sharing this listing with all of my friends. We can't wait to book it again! It was a perfect place to book for the Cooperstown Dreams Park tournament.

Cooperstown Dreams Park Stay
We recently had the opportunity to stay in the Sunset Lodge while in the area for baseball at Dreams Park. This property exceeded all expectations. This was our 2nd visit to the area so we were aware of the area’s properties and were excited to find something new. Being new, this property was very clean and loaded with everything needed. The AC worked great. The laundry facilities proved to be necessary with all our rain drenched and muddy clothing (especially after the tournament ended and needing to clean our 12 year olds dirty clothing). The hosts are very welcoming, accommodating and knowledgeable of the area. Best part is the location… close enough to town and baseball but in the woods to allow you to truly appreciate the areas beauty. We will definitely look to stay here again when we visit again in a few years for our youngest son.
