「My friends and I booked this place for my birthday weekend and had a wonderful time! We especially loved interacting with all the animals, especially the goats. The property and scenery were beautiful and the house was amazing with all the available rooms and the game room in the garage. Plus, it is in a great location with only about a 15min drive to River, New Braunfels, and Downtown San Marcos! If I ever need another place to stay in that area, I will definitely be booking this place again!」

「Very nice Hill Country getaway cabin for the family. I would highly recommend this for a family (we had 6) and visited San Marcos and Austin. We will be back」

「Rustic farm house filled with antique furnishings . But very comfy beds and good hot water and air kept us cool . Best place to stay for a night of music and fun at Rileys or the other nearby food n music joint. We laughed and were ok with the trains passing thru so often but hey its part of the experience!!」

「This is a lovely home, and we enjoyed our stay. Marlen is a wonderful hostess and made us feel very welcome. The location is excellent, close to everything you want to do in San Marcos. I highly recommend this property.」

「We were there for winter motocross camp and the house was so close to the location 」

「Excellent room, very clean and comfortable. Numerous small touches (bottled water, outdoor sandals, built in soap/shampoo dispensers, etc.) that go the extra mile. Good value for the area.」

「Not bad at all」

「House was great. Neighborhood is run down but we didn’t have any issues. Parking is a little tight. 2 cars will fit but not 2 trucks. House was spacious and comfortable.」
