I've stayed here a lot because it's affordable and you can get a smoking room. Usually it's not bad, you get what you pay for. This week long stay, the bed was only made twice and the floor was not swept AT ALL.

I havnt slept that good in a while , right when I woke up I lifted the sheets to see what brand mattress and pillows they were. 100 out of 10

Overall, this was a fine stay. The front desk and restaurant staff were standouts with their service and cheerfulness. I found the timing of housekeeping to be strange. I checked in very, very late on my check-in date and was out the entirety of the next day. When I returned, the room had not been made up. I then went out the next morning, returning midday. The room had still not been touched, and then housekeeping came around 4 p.m. when I was relaxing, so that didn't work for me. I checked out the next morning, so suffice it to say, I had a lackluster experience specifically when it came to housekeeping. Otherwise, the room was clean when I checked in, and I enjoyed my stay and time in Pittsburgh. Oh, and I wish room service were available. I called down for it one morning and was told it was unavailable. Because there are so many restaurants in the area, I grabbed something on my way to my appointments.

I wasn't sure about the no-front-desk hotel setup, but my stay was very pleasant. I stayed for 2 weeks, and there's a bit of a DIY element here -- housekeeping service is an add-on -- but the supply closet was always stocked. I stayed in the Deluxe King room with a sitting area. It was a lovely, quiet room with plenty of space. The restaurant in the lobby is amazing, too. Unaffiliated with the hotel, it made the list of top 25 restaurants in Pittsburgh -- definitely recommend popping in for a nightcap or a memorable meal.

Had a hard time at check in with manager. I travel on business often, and this used to be my go to hotel while staying near Pittsburgh. This time though, after my 4th stay in 6 weeks, the manager wanted my cc to copy that was used to booked. My company books my travel, and never have I been asked for an “approval form” filled out prior to my stays or to copy my cc. After driving 8 hours of driving, I just wanted to check in. Not hear about how it’s to protect me. Yadda yadda yadda. The whole front desk staff has always been so welcoming and helpful. This guy, he needs a check on his hospitality skills.
