「area quiet, rooms clean and comfortable」

「This is our third year in a row staying here for July 4th. Rooms are excellent. View of the river is spectacular from room. Fish will be jumping at dusk. Helens and Mason Brew Pub a short walk away. Rooms are recently updated and are beautiful. Great rear outside sitting area with fireplace to hang out at next to the river which is quiet on a large lawn area.」

「Since there was very little information on the listing, I thought I would clarify that this is a very rustic accommodation, more like camping than anything else. The cabin was very open to the elements, always filled with bugs (wasps, beetles, fishing spiders, etc.), and you should expect to be woken up at 4 by the rooster and other farm animals. The bed itself was cozy and the shed was charming in many ways. If this all is what you are expecting, you might have a great time. For people like us...

「This was our first trip to Maine and we had a great time staying here at this charming cottage. The host was very responsive and all amenities were as advertised. The location is great, being nestled along the back part of the bay where we could watch the fisherman work and wake up to deer and bird songs every morning. We even got to see a baby fox and porcupine in the neighborhood. Travel to nearby Acadia and Schoodic is not far. Our top pick for places to visit would be Quoody Head State Park...

「I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though」
