The location of this home was perfect for our family ski trip! We really enjoyed watching the beautiful sunset from the hot tub and playing the awesome games. Thanks for everything!
This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family vacation! The back porch offering amazing views of the woods. The place was clean, cozy, well-organized, and stocked with fun family games. The owners were incredibly responsive to any questions and requests that I had. I would certainly stay there again.
Cabin was exactly what I was looking for to spend a long weekend with my family. We had plenty of space, it was very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. Between the hot tub and fire pit we spent a lot of family time on the porch. Communication with the host could not have been any better. It was a great time and we
definitely hope to go back again.
Very nice stay and cozy cabin with a wonderful view off the back deck. Check in was easy and Kori was very responsive if we had any questions during our stay. The cabin was very clean and well equiped with all the esssentials for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was a nice addition and located in the back deck with a beautiful view of the stars, we did see 3 shooting stars one night. We really enjoyed a hike to the top of Big Bald for 360 views of the surrounding mountains. A little bit of a drive to restuarants, but we came to explore, so it was no issue. The really enjoyed Stoney Knob Cafe, so much that we went twice, well worth the 30 minute drive towards Asheville in Weaverville. Due to the capicity this would make a great stay for a family event or hoilday. I would reccomend this cabin for a peaceful stay, there are 2 other cabins in veiw of this one , but they are far enough away for complete privacy. Next stay in this area we will definetly come back. Don't pass this one up!
This property truly delivered! We felt as if we were on our own private mountain but not isolated. From coffee on the porch to relaxing in the hot tub, we soaked in the views. Our late-teen/early 20s children had plenty of space to spread out and enjoyed the community pool on the days we didn't venture into Asheville or hike the nearby trails. Hosts thought of everything!
We booked this cabin to celebrate my husbands and my sons birthdays. You never know what to expect but we were very happy with everything. There were 6 adults and 2 dogs and we had more than enough room. Cabin was clean and well stocked. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub a lot after a day out. Kori was very good about getting back to me when I had a question. Overall we would definitely come back!!
Very clean and spacious. Loved the fire pit and hot tub. Host’s were very responsive. The view from the porch is nice! We went to smoke timber for dinner, a bit pricey, but the food alone was worth it. The lodge is beautiful to hang out at and enjoy a cocktail.
Booked this place for a family wedding. It was large and spacious and well kept. Hot tub was a treat and deck had the most beautiful view of the mountains. Host was very communicative!
What a great place for a gal's vacation. Enjoyed the hot tub after all the walking in Asheville. The morning coffee by the outdoor fire. We would of had great sunrises and sunsets views from the deck but alas our week was rainy and overcast. After being out all day the cabin felt so homey. Highly recommend
Fantastic cabin with everything we needed for both the kids and grown ups. The hot tub overlooking the mountains was the highlight. Great property all around!
Great experience! Wolf Laurel had great hiking trails within the resort and close location to zip lining and horseback riding. The house was clean and had a beautiful view! The owners were very helpful!
We had a great extended weekend in this cabin. Exceptionally clean! Basic supplies provided. Great location to access Appalachian Trail and day trips to multiple mountain towns, Asheville and Johnson City. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing family get away. The house worked out great for us as Grandparents. We had plenty of space and privacy with two couples and five kids with us. The weather was rainy and chilly but that didn't keep everyone out of the hot tub with that gorgeous view.
Thank you Kori and Mike for your hospitality! We will definitely be back.
There was NOTHING I didnt like about the Serenity Cabin. 3 story Cabin that gave lots of space for all guest. I actually tested 3 of the 4 bedrooms. I pretended to be Goldilocks and slept in the 3 beds . A different bedroom each night. And my favorite was the downstairs room. It had a full bathroom, kitchenette and arcade games also. The Cabin Featured a LARGE Covered DECK. Firepit, Charcoal grill , lots of seating and A Big Hot Tub. A beautiful Gas Fireplace in the living room. Washer and Dryer to do our laundry before returning home. Fully equipped with everything youde possibly need . We took our dog , his first vacation ever. He loved the walks and being outside on the fenced deck. Grilling our supper and roasting marshmellows, making smores in the evening. The weather was perfect for this vacation.. The peacefulness was outstanding. There are many activities throughout the community. My famiy.enjoyed everythingAlso there are games for the kids to enjoy. Thank God we were bery Blessedßw
This rental is on a dirt/ loose rock trail. You must have 4 wheel drive or you will have trouble on the high hill and sharp turns. The house is older the the photos. We were unable to use our code to access the rental. Had to drive about 40 min. To get a signal. Almost got hit head on going back down this mountainness trail. This after traveling 10 hours. If we had stayed we would have had to drive back up that 1 lane extremely loose trail. Just to see if a new code would even work. If not back down the mountain. (No wifi or data service in the area) we did not want to go back and forth in the dark. Too dangerous. Even though we were locked out and never accessed the property we only received 50% of or fees. We felt like we were taken. Make sure you take the insurance. I already filed a claim. Very disappointed that my family had to turn around and go else were.
