Quite ok for the money, after all you are in a former prison with a museum feel. There were sometimes problems with the room cards, they didn't always work. Breakfast ok, parking in front of the hotel ok!

Cool prison hotel with great history

Super cool Hotel, its an old prison. very clean, very good breakfast, super confy beds. the doors are extreemly small since its the original doors for the prison cells. The staits in the middel of the hotel is low so you can hit your head. Rooms have very high celings. very comfy, cool history, great location.

It is a prison! You can feel it, however it is cool to experience it for a night. We got to check-in right when the Front Desk was closing for the day. A but eerie inside when no-one is around and you have. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Okay-ish breakfast. Overall great for a night!

Hostel style to the max. Pros— comfy clean bed. Quiet. Room is big enough. Cons— no drinking water to be found apart from in bathrooms. Toilet down corridor was flooded. One more toilet for the floor had non functioning lock. Mega prison vibes— sad pics of ex prisoners adorn the walls. Weird. No breakfast before 8am on weekends.

Mycket enkelt men bra läge.

Trots att jag var medveten om att det skulle vara enkelt så var rummet i enklaste laget i förhållande till priset. Personalen var bra och fixade bl a säker parkering till våra mc. Frukosten var ok och innehöll vad man behöver. Läget på boendet var suveränt, med mängder av restauranger etc inom 5-10 min promenad.

Smutsigt på toaletter och vid frukosten. Väldigt hög musik från en fest utanför som störde under natten. Toalett och duschrum väldigt slitna. Men sköna sängar.

Prisvärt och hade det man behövde för en natt vidare iväg på resa. Trevlig personal med glimten i ögat och humor.

Var itrolig spennende å overnatte i et tidligere fengsel. Var utrolig gode senger! Det som var dumt er at det ikke er heis og det hadde vært flott om menn og damer kunne forholdt seg til menn og damer bad/toalett når det er felles! Utrolig ukomfertabelt å gå inn på dame badet og det står en mann der å steller seg! Frokosten var ikke noe! Greit det skal være enkelt, men kan se litt mer innbydende ut. De som drev Waterside var utrolig hyggelige, men syns de godt kan være litt mer profesjonelle. Ved frokost satt de i frokostsalen og spiste frokost "sammen" med gjestene.

Relativt godt

Hotellet ligger virkelig godt og med flot udsigt. I gåafstand til det meste. Ombygningen fra fængsel til hotel har nok engang været ret så god, for man kunne se spor fra tidligere, og det gjorde bygningen interessant. Nuværende ejer virker dog gladere for romantisk stil samt bar-memorabilia, hvilket skaber et noget underligt clash (og ikke til det bedre). Sengene var ret gode og på familieværelset var der god plads. Morgenmad er inkluderet, men forvent ikke for meget.

Det som var positivt var läget, nära stan och promenadavstånd till det mesta, samt att sängen var riktigt skön och frukosten god. Roligt med lite artister och trubadur på hotellet. Tyvärr var det flera saker som drog ner helhetsintrycket på vandrarhemmet. För det första fick man inte så mycket information kring frukost osv. För det andra var rummen extremt små med många intryckta möbler som borde planeras på ett bättre sätt. Vidare var toaletterna ofräscha. Killarnas dusch var nyrenoverad och fräsch, men tyvärr var tjejernas dusch under all kritik. Dessutom saknades tvål på toaletterna och det fylldes inte på kontinuerligt. Jag skulle personligen inte välja att bo här igen på vandrarhemmet.

Helt ok rum, men opraktiskt - saknade handdukskrokar, inga kontakter vid säng el i badrum. Mkt enkel & tråkig frukost. Byggnaden är ett gammalt fängelse och de flesta rummen verkar vara vandrarhem. Inga gemensamma utrymmen/lounge. Rekommenderas ej.

An interesting place

Great hotel inside an old prison. Modern but not to modern so it still has lots of character. The hallways echo a little just how it would have when it was a prison.

Med tanke på priset så hade jagvinga större förväntningar, Frukost helt ok men vad som var illa var att sängen som var typ 160 cm bred hade en skarv i mitten som gjorde att man hamnade i detta V flera gånger på natten. Oerhört irriterande och obehagligt måste jag säga och det var även ett eneklrum så en 90 eller 105 cm säng hade räckt. Så betyget bli 2/5 från mig

+Sentralt, hyggelig område, gøy med konseptet å bo på celler. Fornøyde med frokosten også, særlig de varme rundstykkene. Rimelig pris. -Veldig lytt, for myk dobbeltseng som ikke satt sammen og kaldt på rommet. Ovnene hjalp ikke.

Det nödvändiga är bra nog.

Behövde boende för en hemvändarresa. Det hade det som vi behövde där och då. Dvs. En säng. Frukost ingår, men fanns inte något gluten eller laktosfritt vad jag kunde se. Personalen hade säkert kunnat fixa fram det snabbt. Men för mig var inte frukosten nödvändig. (Så länge det finns kaffe så är jag nöjd) Hotellet har bra läge med promenadavstånd till centrum.
