"Michael and Lyne were great hosts! They recommended a couple of places to eat (which were both great), they showed us around the beautiful property that includes a beautiful room, deck and private beach! We enjoyed coffee by the pool and the sunset on the beach. Extra bonus was that my husband got to help Michael dig up and save some endangered green turtle eggs! Their love and knowledge of the wildlife around them is extrodanary ❤️ A truly unique location!"

"I cannot recommend this property highly enough! It's a secluded retreat nestled in the jungle, just steps away from what felt like our own private beach. "Beautiful casita, impeccably maintained. Kitchen had what we needed, even a blender for our morning smoothies (thanks Gisela!). The entire property is lovely, and again impeccably maintained. "The view from the balcony was spectacular. Very good location and easy to find. Patricia and Bob were spectacular hosts and made us feel like old friends.We were offered use of the pool, but didn't use it, but it was large, clean and again, an amazing view.The casita was exactly as described, very cozy, clean and a comfortable.I recommend making the short drive and 15 minute hike to the waterfall!"

"I was traveling with my teen daughter and we stayed here for two nights. The property is located a few stair steps down to the beach. Very quiet. Very homy relaxing atmosphere. Staff is very friendly. They have a restoran on the site and serve delicious freshly made food for a reasonable price. We rent two queen bed room with a big furnished terrace overlooking ocean and the pool. Room was clean, spacious with good wifi reception and big tv. Chanals and Netflix available. It is a family buisness definitely dedicated to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The property is just 15 min. of safe walk at any time to more restorants and buisness. It is hard to find such a property for that price in this area. We would definitely come back here."

"Great house in the Santa Catalina area, with privacy and an awesome property. The owners were so nice, and they conveniently arranged some horses for us to horseback ride on their property and at the nearby beach, which was fantastic. Great conversation with them as well, they were both very friendly and helpful. The beach was conveniently located, and we were able to walk down to a restaurant 5 minutes away. The pool was also perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!"

"The online 1-star rating is not really justified. Although basic, this place is worth the $55 fee. The Hotels.com experience is to be avoided, they overcharged on the rate. The room was basic, the bed below average, but seeing the many species and number of sea birds in the early morning is a treat. The dirt driveway to the site is a biet of a pain."
