Lots of great walks start from near the hotel, including the UNESCO walking trail throughout the Wachau. Great restaurant - and the wine is great. I can recommend the flammkuchen with their Pinot noir! 」

「The hotel is very well located for accessing the city center. There is a beautiful park nearby. Motorcycle parking is available in the hotel garden, which is closed overnight. The staff were very friendly and offered a full breakfast with eggs upon request.」
「We had a nice two night stay in the hotel. The room was big enough for our stay with comfortable bed. We loved the outdoor pool and the roof bar. We could rent bikes for a day to explore the area and cycle along Danube river. The breakfast was amazing with great selection. Reception staff was very helpful. The only negative is that the outside parking doesn’t have enough spaces for such big hotel, there is a big underground carpark for €16 a day which we thought it’s quite a lot and we thought...

Loved the town of Melk and would definitely stay in this apartment again. Modern and equipped kitchen for prep of simple meals. Easy walk to train station and bus stop.」
「If you want a nice, peaceful, away from everything kind of place, then this is your stop. Up on top of the mountains, you have a fantastic view all around you. It is very quiet and you can sleep peacefully. The rooms are quite basic, no fridge, soap stuffs, but it is still a great lodge. The owners are very nice and amazing folks who will do what they can to make your stay pleasant. This was definitely a relaxing stay for me.」
