「I loved my stay here, it was exactly what I needed. The space was cozy and the garden was absolutely wonderful to spend time in. My hosts were communicative and so, so nice! My only note is that I was very excited about the rope hammock featured in the photos, but unfortunately it was no longer there when I arrived. But otherwise, great spot to enjoy Tours from, and all of France, or to get away and have some time to yourself. If coming in summer, be prepared for bugs and heat! 」

「Had a wonderful stay. The property is situated in a quiet town which for us was located half way to our final destination so absolutely perfect. The house was huge and had absolutely everything you could want for a stay. Well equipped and our bed was so comfortable. 「Place was excellent, great for a cycling trip with work mates. Slight issue when we turned up, but Giles sorted out straight away. Place was great five stars all over. The only thing that was annoying was the flies. Thousands of them. We went out and bought about ten fly strips which when we put up had hundreds of flies on them. Rooms were excellent, massive fire place which was great. Hot water always there and a great swimming pool. It was a bit damp and musky in the downstairs bedrooms....

「Propriétaires agréables et discrets (ce qui est important). Maison « magique » où tout ce dont on a besoin est disponible. Environnement très calme et ressourçant, pas un bruit de voiture (je ne me rappelle plus la dernière fois que j’ai vécu ça !) juste les oiseaux et les grillons le soir. Et pas de pollution lumineuse pour étudier les étoiles. Mais aussi des téléviseurs et une relativement bonne connexion internet pour malgré tout garder un œil sur l’autre monde…」

"We chose this hotel because we wanted to stay in a French château. The facilities and equipment are old, but since the plumbing and other essentials have been properly renovated, that part was reassuring. Overall, however, it does feel rather dated, and if you are accustomed to modern-style hotels, you might find it a bit unsatisfying in terms of comfort. Having air conditioning was a great relief, especially since we stayed in the summer. That said, the experience of staying in a French château itself has great value. We were able to see horses, chickens, and dogs freely roaming around, and for those who want to fully enjoy nature, I can certainly recommend it."
