Great week in Marco Island

We had an amazing week at Erik's place- the location was perfect for exploring the island, Erik was super helpful with activity suggestions, and thanks to him we had a fantastic 2 days of fishing with Vordy. We can't wait to come back and stay at Erik's again!

Great family spring break getaway!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Erik‘s home in Marco! Beautiful space, very comfortable rooms, and perfectly outfitted kitchen for dining in. The pool and spa were fabulous with a beautiful view of the canal. Erik, the host, was incredible! He provided us with great tips for dinner and had some great advice for attracting fish off the dock. there was also everything you’d need to bike or walk to the beach, including beach chairs, coolers, and cart to carry everything, etc. Highly recommend! Thank you for such a wonderful getaway!

Spring break

We had an excellent stay at Erik’s house. The house was extremely nice and had everything we needed. We loved the pool and hot tub. Great pool area with outdoor tv. My husband and college son enjoyed sitting in hot tub and watching ncaa. There were bikes and fishing rods for our use. We definitely enjoyed riding the bikes Erik answered all our questions. We would definitely stay in his house again.

Lovely property and great location!

This house is in a perfect location, with easy access to bike/running trails and just a short drive to the beach! The property was clean, pool was nice and we were able to do some fishing from the backyard, which borders the canal! The property owner was extremely pleasant and helpful - I would highly recommend this property!

Marco Island

We have stayed in several homes on Marco Island and this is a stunning home - great location - close to all restaurants and grocery stores. Spent most of our stay out by the tiki bar, pool and dock. Owner was great to work with. Made sure our stay was perfect in everyway - looking forward to staying here again. Thanks for everything

Amazing stay!

My family and I spent the month of February at Erik’s house. It was everything we wanted. The kids loved the pool. I enjoyed the nights hanging in the hot tub watching tv. Erik is a great host and extremely accessible from the moment we booked the house. I would definitely recommend Erik and his home. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

Christmas in Marco:)

Our family had a wonderful stay!! The property was clean and worked perfectly for our family. It’s located in excellent proximity to shopping, restaurants and beaches. The pool area was comfortable and sitting in the hot tub watching football and Christmas movies was great! The owners were incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed to make the stay memorable:)

Family gathering

The house is spacious and a great choice for a family or a group of friends who are traveling together. The owner keeps the house fully equipped and the pantry is stocked with many things that are wonderful to have handy; pots and pans, an abundance of dishes and glassware, spices and condiments etc. The lanai area is big and the pool is clean and warm (upon request). The location is mid island so you will need to drive to any shopping or dining areas. If you run into any issues, the owner is responsive and will work through any issues that may come up.

Exceeded Expectations

This was our first trip to Marco Island and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. The house was amazing! Nicely decorated, clean, very spacious, and equipped with everything that you would need. The mattresses were very comfortable, which you do not find in many rentals. My daughter, who is a mattress snob, said they passed her test. Since it was very hot during our stay, having the private pool and hot tub was a big plus that we took full advantage of. Eric is a fantastic host who was very responsive to any questions that we had both before the trip and during our trip. We loved the fact that the house was centrally located and within proximity to everything.

Perfect family vacation

My wife and I, along with our adult grandchildren enjoyed the perfect Marco Island vacation. Fishing, relaxing in the pool, cooking big meals, eating local seafood, biking to the beautiful beach. The house was super comfortable and so was the weather. Thanks to Erik for a great time!

Nice home in the heart of Marko Island

We had a very nice weeklong stay at this house. We loved the pool and even did a little fishing off the canal dock. It was nice having the bikes as it was a quick 10 minute ride down to Marko Beach where the lack of close by public parking made that the less crowded option for the areas public beach options. The best part of the property is Eric who is the owner and property manager. He is an excellent host that goes out of his way to make sure you have a great stay. If you like a high-touch experience, this is the place for you. Only con we found is with being a two-story home you have to go downstairs to access the pool. There is a mini fridge in the garage which is helpful but would be nice if there was a bathroom on this first floor. Other than that, the place is fantastic!

Great spring break trip!

Our first time to Marco Island and we were very happy to find Erik’s house to rent! Lots of great outdoor space in the lanai! We loved the pool and hot tub and spent lots of time in them! Especially loved too that it was salt water and pool toys there to use! Erik was a very helpful and responsive host!

Awesome Location!

Great location and the communication with the owner was spectacular. Recommend a boat ride on his boat with the captain. Leaves right from the dock!

Super nice

The property was great. The size of the house fit my family perfect. The owner explained why the pool and hot tub weren’t heated as listed. No prob. I mean they didn’t just have a hurricane. I would rent again for sure. The kitchen was stocked with anything we needed to cook. We did get the table too griddle out to cook on and it was full of grease. Wasn’t washed by whoever used it last,but we washed it and carried on. My family and I do not require much to have a good time and we try not to complain either. We enjoyed our time in Marco. I also would recommend this property to anyone looking.

Disappointed

This house definitely has some positives such as a private pool and spa. Beach items available. However the house needed some major updating and cleaning. The bar area was nice outside, but we could not use it because the sink and refrigerator were filthy. The screens were ripped in the lanai. There is rust spots on the refrigerator door. We had found items that confirmed the cleaning wasn’t very good, such as ear plug and popcorn which we got ours. The owner helped with the pool and spa on the first day, but said he would send somebody out for the dirty areas. This did not occur

Very nice home

Beautiful home with nice tropical style, very close to beach. Owner is 100% awesome. Owner even returned an item I left behind. If you wanna fish, there are plenty of sheepshead off the dock. Pool is nice, the jacuzzi was very relaxing, Overall, my family had a great time here, so, I do recommend.

Property and Host were Wonderful

Erik was an outstanding VRBO host....from before we even arrived. He was in constant communication on our arrival day...notifying us when the cleaners were finished so we could access the house early. He even called the restaurant we were spending our time at to have a bucket of beer sent to our table. Erik's customer service was outstanding throughout our stay. Our family really enjoyed the house and pool...it was perfect.

Great location

Our family truly enjoyed our stay in the beautiful area of Marco. This home is perfectly located. Several people in our group rode the bikes to the beach every day. Make sure to bring shoes for the beach (lots of shells). Loved the pool area and spent a couple days bbqing and lounging. It was so nice to have the beach chairs readily available as well as umbrellas to protect from the hot sun. Erik was amazing to work with and was very responsive when needed....he also gave lots of great recommendations!

Perfect Family Vacation!

The property was awesome! It’s centrally located so you’re close to beaches and restaurants. The beds were super comfortable. We loved the pool space with plenty of seating and a bar. Our family used the dock for fishing. The house is very well stocked with anything you might need. The owner went above and beyond for us and even brought some fish over. We truly enjoyed ourselves, thank you so much!

Marco Island experience

Everything from the beginning of our trip was as easy as could be from booking to the morning of departure. This is a very beautiful place that allows you to be able to unwind and relax. We opted to rent a boat for multiple days from Dolphin Cove Marina ( great people and I recommend them ) and dock it behind the house. We had less than a 75 foot walk from the pool area to the dock. We spent a lot of time playing in the pool ( screened in enclosure. ) and just relaxing. We had the pleasure of actually meeting the homeowner and he made you feel like the place was as much yours as it was his . If were ever to go back to the area we would definitely be calling on Eric again.

Great family vacation spot!

The property was perfect for our family vacation! The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We stayed for an entire week and had the best time. Just a quick drive to the beach, we went a couple times and we were able to use a beach umbrella from the property which came in handy. The pool was the perfect temperature and great for taking our 7 month old daughter for a soak without having to be in the sun all day. We also rented a boat for a few days and kept it at the property, easy access to the Gulf! One morning we saw some manatees swim by as we were standing on the dock! My husband spent a lot of time fishing out there and caught plenty of fish. We would definitely recommend this property to family and friends and would love to come back soon :)
