"Beautiful country house with lovely architectural features inside and out surrounded by meadows and woods. Close to many other lovely Renaissance castles, romantic little towns and- of course - the Loire. The house was immaculately clean, perfectly equipped to accommodate a large group of adults, every bedroom with its own facilities- we had a marvelous time a d are thankful to ou gracious hosts."

"La maison est très bien située pour les visites de plusieurs châteaux (Chambord, Cheverny et Blois par exemple). Elle est proche de la jolie ville de Dhuizon (moins de 10mn à pied du centre ville) qui propose une super épicerie avec des produits locaux de qualité et un super restaurant pour manger "Comme à la maison". La maison est vaste et propre avec de nombreuses chambres. Les équipements intérieurs sont suffisants et adaptés. Le jardin est un poil petit et mériterait quelques équipements...

"The rooms are really new. So new that I can still smell it. I’m sure the smell will be done in a couple months. Other than that, staff is nice and room is very comfortable. However, only one of us were able to use the QR code on the doors to unlock them even after following all the instructions. We were also expecting a designated parking spot, but it turns out to just be street parking. Breakfast was wonderful, would be great if there are food options other than carbs."

"This really is rural. It is in the middle of a forest down an unmade road 2 km to nearest village. It is a beautiful location. Host are generous and welcoming. We heard so many birds including owls and saw bats, and deer locally whilst visiting. The pool was a treat in the hot weather ( unheated for the strong hearted!) Situated in a lovely garden. "Il y a tout ce qu’il faut dans la cuisine et salle à manger (vaisselle et couverts à foison )et dans les chambres (deux matelas accolés de taille différente dans l’une d’elle donc peu confortables) Petit bémol mais bon à savoir du fait de l’emplacement dans la campagne on ne capte pas facilement avec les téléphones !et un gros souci de mouches dans une chambre donc chasse aux mouches tous les soirs ...et des cadavres de mouches ici et la dans la maison je ne pense pas que l’aspirateur fut passé...

"the location is stunning the host is very nice and responsive but unfortunately the property has not been cleaned prior to our arival it was dusty, sticky and the toiled smelled of wee. We where very disappointed. We do travel a lot as a family and I have seen a number of properties. This one needs a deep clean . It has been advertised for a family but the indoor dining table is way to small like the water cooker for a family of 5 (and my kids are still small). I would have loved to rate it...

"The property met our needs, but there were some things that could have been better. On the upside, because we had young children along, the pool was a bonus. The donkeys, goats, chickens, and roosters were enchanting. On the downside, if someone wants to be close to the surrounding cities (Tours/Amboise) with pubs and restaurants, this is not the place. Also, the place needs some TLC and a good scrubbing."
