A small, quite, old fashioned hotel....clearly well taken care of considering it's age...simple, clean, was honestly like staying at my grandma's in 1996. Some people like fancy ammenities and modern updates, if it's not broken, why are we fixing it? Basic and extremely clean.

Check in was fast , person very friendly, helpful and polite, room was clean except for the coffee pot it needed cleaning, price was very reasonable and affordable me and the family will stay in this motel next time we travel to Johnson City TX

Needs updating

Check in was farcical. Beds reasonably comfortable and rooms were clean enough. Toilet didn’t flush properly. Shower kept dripping all night keeping me awake. Premises generally needed attention.

Eclipse Visitors NOT Welcome

The hotel was ok, the staff was friendly, but the town of Johnson City was not welcoming to visitors. We went to a local bar in town and they would not serve us. All of the residential streets were blocked with residents only signs. I will not be returning to Johnson City EVER. If i were you, find somewhere else to go.

overcharge and misrepresention of property

It was an overdharge and misrepresentation of property. We reserved on line and quoted $80 room, $90 total. Office charged $90 , $105 total. said booking agent was to blame. Lights didn't work, holes in ceiling, one bed was unsleepable! Roll to the center and can't pull yourself out. Wife moved to other bed for relief., no security chain on door. I could go on.... Don't stay here! Owner would rather have extra $15 than a good review. First of all we were overcharged, we were given a guaranteed price of $90.00 to be paid upon check-in we were charged $105.21 we also asked for a king bed when making the reservation when we checked in we were told the property did not have king beds. We were also charged a 3% for using a credit card. We expect a refund on the overcharge and we will not book with you again. Please reply.

seemed to be a language barrier understanding my requests. No ice machine working. On a good note - bed was comfortable and large TV was nice. Also glass drinking glasses were a treat.

Pricey, but at least it is clean.

This is a cleaner place than expected. It is dated but everything works and it was a place to sleep. It was more expensive that you would expect for similar accommodations in town. No carpet, so no funky smell.

Roach Motel

Do not stay here. The door wouldn’t completely close - we could see daylight between the door and frame. We also killed a handful of bugs in the room. The shower/tub was gross. We didn’t even shower.

This modest motel is conveniently located to restaurants, convenience stores, and state and national parks. The room was clean, bed and pillows comfy, and for the very low comparative price, it worked well. Water was hot, lots of clean towels, plenty of parking space, and a manager onsite to get you extra coffee. Internet was not as fast and sure as usual, but it did get the job done.

Couldn't understand the staff. The place reeked of something cooking in the office. Holes in the wall in the room. Swimming pool water was full but solid blackish water. Disgusting.

I would have rated it high ... but there was no hot water in the shower. Seems pretty basic to a hotel. Hot water in the sink, but not the shower.

Nice and clean

Clean room other customers stand out talking loud Saturday night. The person next to me there alarm went off at 5:30am Sunday and they disturb it off till 6:30 am. So I just got up
