"Perfect getaway spot for all weather!We had to stay indoors due to chilly rain all weekend, but there was plenty to do!4 thrift stores nearby and lovely dining opportunities.There was plenty to do at the house as well, video games, pool table, and hot tub were all a big hit."

"Not a far drive from the Raystown Resort which offers a beautiful lake to walk around at, fish to feed and a very fun water park. It’s a little on the small side but fun! Also several things to do on the lake and a pizza place that is delicious. Some convenience stores not to far from the cabin. Beautiful area with lots of wildlife!"

"I would highly recommend staying at this place. It gives you that cabin look without you having to worry about being hours away from any stores. Spacious rooms, multiple bathrooms, big living room and big extra rec room that you can play ping pong or just chill and watch tv. Also has central air which is a huge plus and the owners were very easy to deal with. Definitely would go back again."

"Giving it 5 Stars because of Curtis - gentleman who was on duty that night. Wyndham had some system updates going on and our registration was not showing at hotels desk. Curtis was very apologetic about the whole situation. He pulled out paper work to do off line check in. then he called his manager (at 4 am) to inform the situation and completed the registration. He saved the night and I'm very thankful for his help and courtesy."

"This property was exceptional, and the Penrod’s were gracious hosts. If you are looking to get away and enjoy the peaceful tranquility of nature, or if you enjoy fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and everything outdoors, this place is for you! Sharing this experience with my 3 teenage kids, I never heard once that they didn’t have anything to do. They loved it here and the amenities were everything we needed! "
